I've installed various types and qualities of human hair extensions - from $250 dollar 3 length "bundles" / $150 tape-ins from beauty supply store to $800+ wefts for licensed professionals. Well...long story short, we recently did a beautiful balayage on my naturally auburn haired teenager. She has a few big events coming up and wanted me to add even more blonde to her hair and has been begging me for extensions to add a few more inches to her already long hair. I decided I would just order a few different kinds of extensions in blonde (I will use Shades EQ Demi to do a custom root melt on them beforehand to perfectly match her natural auburn color) to avoid having to use more lightener on her hair. 2 birds, 1 stone. I didn't want to spend a fortune because it's her first experience with extensions and being a teenager, I dont know how long she will want to wear them, plus I will have to teach her how to cares for them appropriately and monitor to make sure she is doing well with the maintenance. But of course I still wanted good quality that will hold up to styling, not tangle so easily or make caring for them more difficult. So I ordered this weft, a weft from another company that was slightly more expensive for the same amount of hair, and a small pack of keratin flat tip extensions from 2 different companies as well (they are both around the same price as this 59.4 gram weft, but 1 pack was 48 grams and the other pack was only 22 grams). I know that's a bit excessive rather than just getting them all from the same conpany, but it was a perfect opportunity for me to test out the quality and longevity of 4 different brands. All of that is just to say that upon initial inspection and washing/drying all 4, I am literally shocked at how amazing the Wennalife weft is!!! Stunned. It is one of the thinnest, most flat and seamless wefts I have ever used. I am about to do the root melt on them and will install it (probably NSBW method) on her this evening, but I can already tell you it will be UNDETECTABLE! This is a weft that even fine/thin hair types will have no trouble hiding! In addition to the quality of hair being amazing, washing beautifully, and gorgeous color (I won't have to do anything at all color wise to the lengths, just matching her unique root color), it is double drawn, ZERO return hairs, and super full from root to tip! Although it has the smallest band, there is more hair per square inch than most brands and the seam and a LOT more hair per square inch at the ends!! I can't attest to the longevity yet, but I will definitely update soon because so far I am beyond impressed, and I'm not easily impressed after using a lot of licensed pro exclusive wefts (as well as nano beads, keralink, tapes, etc). I will definitely be using them for more wefts in the future, and I'm super excited to try out their other types of extensions as well now!! I honestly wish I would have ordered all 4 (both wefts and both packs of keratin fusion) from Wennalife now, but hindsight is 20/20. Oh!!! One more impressive thing - my daughter remembered LAST MINUTE that one of the events was Monday, so I told her it might not happen because I havent even ordered the 2nd weft yet. But I went ahead and placed my order last night (Saturday) around 6pm, and it was delivered THIS morning (SUNDAY) around 8:15am! I immediately opened and washed them to get ready to color the root, but I was soooo impressed and shocked at how amazing they are that I wanted to write this review before I got too busy and possibly forget. That's a lot of unnecessary info, but i thought it might help anyone who is on the fence about going with this company or a few other notable/popular ones in the same price range.... and also for pro stylists who may be wanting to try these out - they are honestly THAT good at initial inspection and impression, but I will definitely update when it's time for a move up install. :)

This hair is THICK! The ends are NOT thin at all . SUPER silky smooth !! I’m very pleased with the quality of this hair . I bought 2 packs of the 16in strawberry blonde , which equals 160 grams all together & this is definitely enough for my install ! I’m super excited . I’ll update once it’s installed & colored . My hair is thin & my hair length is uneven!! So my expectations are high! -Come back for my update- UPDATE: I’ve had them installed for 2 months! I just had my move up today & they are still in great condition!! No issues , no matting , no shedding or thinning! 10/10 . I’ll be getting 18inches next time!!

This is the 2nd set of extensions I have bought from wennalife, the 1st set was great, I got the 18 inch. However, this time I got the 20 inch and these are terrible. Not human hair, I’ve had them in almost 2 weeks and they already look fried on the ends and I always apply heat protectant. They do not hold curl. They are stick straight and shed a lot. I will be buying from somewhere else from now on.

I love this brand! I have been buying them for years. Dark Brown matches my dark brown perfectly. I get them installed by my stylist every 6-8 weeks, everyone is surprised when I tell them I tell them I have extensions. You can use them multiple times- if they dry out you can use a deep conditioning mask and they come back to life.

So close to getting a 5 star rating... This is a long one. I wanted to see how much I would like the longer hair on me, and I knew I would be changing my hair color in the next couple months so I wanted to go with a cheaper brand than the hair I typically use. I get my hair dyed a cool tone black, but I was noticing when the color on my shafts start to fade my natural warmth sticks out in the sun to the jet black. I went with Natural black for this hair and I am so glad I did! I would say unless your hair is naturally jet black or you get it dyed often enough that your color doesn't fade, the natural black is a great color! I also was afraid that the jet black would look too wig like or fake. Again, very happy I went with the natural black. My natural hair is thin and fine, I was using the thinner wefts with my previous brand, the ones I got from Wennalife is thicker and it is already doubled up. It took me about a week to get used to it, it does feel lighter than it looks but I worry when my hair grows out that it would pull too much on my natural hair. You can feel the return hairs on the weft, I do not think this is going to bother me but if you have a sensitive scalp you might want to be aware of it. I plan on taking this hair out at the 6 week mark instead of my normal 8 weeks. (also to give my head a rest before color change too) My stylist did not have a hard time sewing the hair in, seemed to be just as easy as any other hair we have used. When I first got the hair out of the package it was so soft, I was impressed. I gave it a good wash and condition and blowdried the hair. I will say it was a trust the process moment... at first the hair looked rough and tangly BUT it brushed out easily with some detangler and ended up drying fine. Honestly, it is just A LOT of hair! It does shed more than some high quality extensions but nothing extreme or out of the ordinary so far (2 weeks in) I have washed it once and they washed and dried fine! Here is where we lose the star.... I am not convinced this is 100% real hair, after the first initial wash and blow dry I used a flat iron on low and you can smell a little bit of the burning. Not crazy, but there was some. I figured it was the coating they put on the hair and did not think about it. I then got it installed and when we went to curl it. We smelt a little but of burning again. Not bad, not enough to make me say take it off! I gave my hair another wash and dry Sunday and Monday morning I went to curl my hair. Still the slightest bit of burning smell, I think it will eventually go away. My hair typically holds a curl pretty well, and I am pretty good at using a curling iron, but this hair will NOT hold a curl for me. By lunch time one side of my hair is more straight than the other. I do not think it was user error, and I did use hairspray. The one side that held a curl better was still not a great curl. I don't mind that it will give me more of a "blown out" look with just a little curl, but I'm going to have to adjust my natural hair so I am not curly on top and straight on the bottom. Look, overall I think this is a great cost effective hair extension, I would have to see what it looks like at the 6-8 week mark, but I would say you would get 1 maybe 2 uses out of one weft. I got 2 rows put in and still have enough hair left over that I could get another round or at least one row of new hair and one of the used hair. I did but the higher gram count for the 22". We did end up cutting the ends to closer to 20" but I think 18" is what I like the most. I would get this brand again, or maybe explore other options when I get my new color done. But, I am going to be going with the thinner wefts instead of the already doubled.

The photo of me in the white tank was taken on May 10, and it’s now July 4. I’m going in next week for my first move-up, and I have to say… these weft extensions are AMAZING. My stylist recommended three bundles because I have THICK Asian hair, so I ordered two 130g bundles and one 110g bundle. When I went to my initial install, she only ended up using ONE of the 130g bundles and was seriously impressed with how full they were. I got them installed for upcoming vacations and events, and they held up SO well. I never experienced the itching that a lot of people talk about with wefts. They’re honestly so comfortable that I forget they’re even there. I also didn’t have any major shedding, and they still look so full. The other photos are all recent, so you can see how well they’ve held up after almost two months. Only possible negative is that they are NOT straight, they have a wave to them which works well with my natural hair. I 100% recommend these extensions. I had mine sewn in, and the quality has exceeded my expectations. Now, Wenna… if you’re reading this, hook your girl up with a discount code for my next order! 😂 The best part is I still have the other two bundles from my original purchase, so I won’t even need to buy more for a while.

Hairstylist here! Over the years I’ve used a few different companies. I recently came across this brand of hair. I recently had an install of the 16inch weft 110g and a few of the tape ins. The hair is thick all the way from weft to end, felt just as amazing after a wash, and held curl great. No shedding. I’m pretty impressed with the quality. Update: I’ve had this hair on now for few weeks and had a few washes. It’s still in great condition. Minimum shedding. Styles good.

I bought these, with the intention of having long, thick hair. I bought the heavier ones in grams, to make it thick. They were much thinner than I expected. They don't match the quality of human hair, given they are extensions. They are not bad for extensions but not perfect either. I was thankful but I wish they were much thicker.
