Other reviews are right: the adhesion is terrible. I’d say it “sucks” but that’s not true… lol. At any rate, I ended up using gorilla glue to make up for the fact that only one side has adhesive. Day one and seems to hold up. I’ll update accordingly.

I ordered this on June 7th, but since it was for my motor home, didn't try it out until July 1st. Like the other reviewers, I had trouble making it stick until I went back to the Amazon page and saw the phrase "Simply peel off protective film" - which doesn't appear on the package or the instructions inside. A clear plastic film on a clear plastic disk isn't immediately noticeable. Once I removed the film, the project worked. Be advised that this is not a suction cup, in spite of what it says in the description. It's a flat disk, which will stick to non-air-permeable surfaces. There are a pair of plastic disks included that you use on other surfaces, but they are not re-positionable. I haven't used them so I can't say how well they work. ... show more

So to be honest, I wasn't expecting anything great, after all it's just a paper towel holder, but I was impressed. The nice thing about this is that it isn't with suction cups at all. It's actually a heavy duty peal and stick disk that the towel bar hooks on to. Which I actually like much better than the suction cups since I have it on a mirror. But be warned put it where you're sure you want it, because it isn't going anywhere after that. ... show more

This gadget was better than I expected.. little disks adhered to the wall I did have to add super glue between disks and holder to make it stronger but I am pleased.

    • Half the adhesive works
It seems to be very sturdy but only on one side my adhesive is working the other keeps falling off. I wish it came with extra adhesive just in case one does not work

I did not read the reviews like I usually do. I purchased this because I wanted something semi-permanent to stick to the user cabinets that are glass. This uses glue adhesion instead of suction cups. I need up using cups and treaded them on to the chrome holder instead of using the adhesion pads. I will not be buying again. ... show more

It is working great, safe space, looks neat. I read reviews about not lasting, falling…So, I recommend this: Cleaned surface pretty well (tile). Wait next day after placed the stickers to use it. Pull and cut paper towel gently since this is not screw to the wall.
