Description

The WEN Magnetic Dipstick extends the lifespan of your generator by catching the loose metal filaments that naturally build up inside the crank case. Simply replace your current dipstick with this heavy duty metal alternative to begin collecting any unwanted metal shards floating around in your oil supply. The industrial-strength magnetic tip catches these deposits, allowing users to remove them from the tank by simply taking out the dipstick. This M27-3.0 thread has been designed to fit WEN models 56551, 56682, 56877, GN9500, and DF1100T, but is also compatible with any generator on the market whose dipstick thread is M27-3.0.

    • Does what it’s intended for
Cool design and works well. Knob part I was skeptical on but it’s actually a great design. Easiest dipstick to put in and takeout I’ve ever had. Magnet is strong and leaves a metal paste when wiped after running it. So it’s definitely picking up metal that’s being cycled thru. You have to run the generator for awhile for it to work. When 1100x generator and it fits well. The only qualm I have is the threads could’ve been machined a little better. There’s a couple jagged indents on the threads ... show more

Absolutely hit the mark for being a perfect fit! Amazon sells a comparable, red aluminum one for 3X the cost, just because they state - it fits the 'Predator 13000'. Well, whoopty do! This one does too for a 1/3 of the cost! Snug fit and expertly machined. Period. No issues and after running just 30 minutes, the story comes true. These generator put out a lots of microtrash and these magnetic dipsticks are worth their weight! ... show more

    • It's magnetic and an oil dipstick BUT BEWARE
The finish is ehhhh. It seems poorly machined or maybe it's cast metal. Just looks real scratched up from the factory. It does fit my generator's oil fill port, a DuroMax generator. It did get shavings from the break-in period. So, it does its job. However, I absolutely wish they would reconsider the design because it is solid metal. You know what that means? It gets H O T after the generator has been running. So, if you absent-mindedly grab it, you're gonna end up like Harry from Home Alone when he grabs that doorknob. It would be nice if they gave the knurling a rubberized coating, or maybe a silicone cover. ... show more

Bought a WEN DF1100T 11,000-Watt 120V/240V Dual Fuel Portable Generator on Amazon. This is recommended and designed by the manufacturer as an upgrade for the WEN DF1100T. It fits perfectly and should (fingers crossed) attract any metallic particles from oil chamber during operation and hopefully extend the life of the generator. It seems almost necessary and for this price, I don't understand why it is not included with compatible generators by default. ... show more

    • Works and fits
Fits Pulsar 12000 generator perfectly and works. Found metal magnetized to it after first use. Wish I had it during the first warm up prep use so it grabbed more. The only problem is since the magnetic dipstick is metal it gets very hot compared to the plastic knob the generator came with. I was used to the plastic and tried to open the new metal one and ouch. Oh well it’s not a problem and the grip is good so no struggle to open it. Wait for it to cool or use gloves when it’s hot. This dipstick should prolong the motors life. Less wear and tear all from using a magnet. Make sure to check the oil often and clean off the metal from the magnet after each use. ... show more
