These moving blankets did exactly what I needed them to do. The size is perfect, not too large, but big enough to cover and protect furniture. They have a nice medium thickness: padded enough to prevent scratches and dents, but not so bulky that they get in the way while loading or adjusting items. The construction feels solid and durable. You don’t need anything overly fancy for moving, just something sturdy and dependable, and these fit that description really well. I used them between pieces of furniture in the moving truck to prevent scuffing, and they worked perfectly. We also laid a few on the floors to protect from dragging or dropping items, and they held up great. Even after the move, I’ve kept them for ongoing household use because they’re still in excellent shape. Overall, these were a great value and helped keep our belongings protected throughout the move. These aren’t the heaviest but they work great and the material seems to hold up good. Bought these to use for move versus the thin ones you can rent. These are so much thicker and heavier duty for almost like renting them. We didn’t scratch one item. They are shipped vacuum packed and they will expand once get air. Purchase for an out of state move. Cloth material feels on the thinner side but is very durable. I purchased two boxes initially but ended up buying more because they were so perfect for my needs. Bought these 3 years ago (2023) and just bought another set of 6 to add to the collection as these are amazing utility blankets. I use them for everything: Padding door frames and door steps when moving items, work surface or table top protectors for when laying out tools or such, drop cloths, and of course as moving blankets. I have yet to wash them but they are machine washable. I have rented pads from u-haul, and I would say I believe the u haul ones are thicker but the material is hard to clean, whereas these are easy to spot clean and they are of a bit “slippery” material so no lint collection or such. ... show more
