The wood is more beautiful than expected, definitely a plus. Assembly was a bit difficult, pre-drilled holes didn’t quite line up, but we managed. Once together, the weight of the table obviously wasn’t taken into account when they decided three legs was sufficient. Depending on what you put where on the table, it may topple over, so be aware. Definitely a beautiful, solid piece of wood. I can't take anything from them on that. It would have been nice to have the option to pay a little more for a little more table; it is pretty small. I know there's another size, but that didn't appear much bigger. As others stated there's a very faint urine smell. But honestly I had to put my nose to it to smell it. Nothing that permeates the room. I guess it's whatever they used to seal the wood. I spray painted the legs gold to match my decor. Assembly was a no Brainer. You clearly see where the legs go. However, you won't be hand screwing them as their instructions suggest. So be prepared to use a power tool of some sort. Because the wood is thick and the pre-drilled holes are small. ... show more

It’s ok, I will keep it, but I’ve seen better for the same price. Only about 13” tall. I bought one at Target several years ago for 59.99 and it’s much better.

This table is a keeper, with a few drawbacks. Assembly was done with a Dewalt power drill but still had a few screws that couldn’t seat. (Will have to pre-drill deeper or use shorter screws on those stubborn ones). The table does have a strong odor. (Comes from China). Hopefully the odor dissipates in the coming weeks. My main disappointment was that the company pre-drilled the table on the beautiful side, leaving the ‘not as attractive’ side facing up. But, you can’t change what side the company pre-drilled. ... show more

Love the look of this table and I am happy with it considering there are few things wrong that I need to mention. 1) It was a little smaller than the dimensions that were listed. I wish it was a few inches bigger in its circumference. 2) This was not easy to assemble without the use of a power drill. The holes that were pre-drilled were not deep enough and I needed to re-drill them with an electric drill. You won’t be able to assemble unless you have access to one. 3) This had a weird smell. It wasn’t extremely overwhelming but was noticeable. Thankfully, it did go away in a few days. I’ve been building new furniture for my new apartment. I have acquired various types of furniture and have found a new hobby in home improvement since this is my first time in my own place. I’ve had some critique on some of the assembly guides I’ve been presented with; ultimately being able to assemble given whatever obstacle or difficulty I have faced. And then came my jujube tree side table…… The instructions are missing guidance on what the hell the small leg covers clips are. Figured it out in my own. And then came the very “simple” screwing of the legs to attach them to the main slab of wood. I am a 31 years old, 215 lb male who works out and lifts weights. I got halfway down with two out of the four screws needed for each leg before realizing that the manufacturer made a stupid decision. It is nearly impossible to screw these in with solely a screw driver. The resistance and friction is so evident that the screws squeak and vibrate each millimeter of a turn by the screwdriver. I am going to have to wait until I can use a friends power drill to finish job. To top it all off, the box it was delivered in was deteriorating and smelt of cardboard that was once soaking wet and now has dried. Smells like straight mildew. PASS THOS ITEM UP, there are better options and experiences waiting for you. ... show more

Likes - solid wood with natural knots and a live edge. Surprisingly heavy. Fairly easy to assemble (a few of the pre-drilled holes didn’t line up perfectly but with power tool no issue), no rocking/wobbling. I wanted this to put by an occasionally used chair, just something cute to set a drink on. For that, it’s perfect. You could set 4 standard wine glasses on it easily, 5-6 if you crammed them in. Dislikes - whatever finish they used smells a bit like old pee. Fairly unpleasant opening the box. Realllly hoping it dissipates with some pine-sol because otherwise I really like this tiny table. ... show more

    • Assembly difficult - need to pre drill your own holes

Assembly instructions state use a screw driver. This is impossible. Used a cordless drill and it still wasn’t enough juice to drill through the wood. Holes are way too small for the provided screws. Besides assembly the table itself is great. Solid wood, and looks very nice.
