It took me a while to figure out how to actually use the thing but once I figured it out, it’s very easy to use. You can do other exercise exercises with that. You don’t have to just stick to the hula hoop action you can like bounce back-and-forth and it was hard at first to even do 10 minutes so it’s not exactly easy and it does make you sweat so it is a good workout. If you did this every day for 30 days you’re definitely gonna lose and inches. I will say the ball is pretty heavy so make sure you got enough space that you’re not going to hit anyone or anything. I would definitely recommend purchasing this! It’s easy to use and gives a solid workout. However, it does make some noise, so whether that’s an issue depends on you and those around you. If I weren’t the one using it, I might find it a little annoying. I wear my AirPods and watch something while using it, which helps drown out the sound. One thing to note—don’t wear a thin shirt, as it can pinch the skin (learned that the hard way). That aside, I can feel it working my muscles, and it even gets me sweating at times. I originally started off with the brand name option, and after using almost every day for a month a wheel snapped and broke, so I got this one as an alternative since the design was similar..turns out this one is cheaper AND better! it's been a couple weeks and there's no signs of residue from the wheels inside the hoop like the brand name. Also, it's quieter then the brand name. (It's not "quiet" overall, but quieter..all these hoops are a little noisy) the brand name one is the lighter blue one in my picture. I've had this hoop for 7 days today and I'm about to remove my first link. The noise level isn't bad at all, doesn't bother my 3 kids or husband. I usually go for an hour and 20 minutes everyday. It's so much fun and I'm getting great cardio with it. I either listen to music or watch something while I hoop. Sometimes I use hand weights with it to get more out of it. I'm aware that other products like this exist but it's a great price and it works great! I highly recommend if your bored with regular cardio. I pair this with weightlifting 4 days a week and it works! Make sure you have some type of barrier between your skin and the hoop or it will leave little scratches on the skin from the little nubs on the inside. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This has been such a fun addition to my routine! If you already know how to hula hoop, it’s easy to use, but if you’re new to it, there might be a bit of a learning curve. Assembly is simple, though some of the clips can be a little tricky to remove at first. Once you figure it out, it’s much easier. It does make some noise while spinning, but I just wear noise-canceling headphones and listen to an audiobook, and it doesn’t bother me at all.
