I bought these as a gift for a friend who likes to ski/snowboard. He stated they were very warm but didn't make his feat sweat. And he did not need to overlap these socks without socks to keep warm. I would buy these again.

I’ve never encountered such an issue with ski socks! The way these are textured a stripe with the least padding is aligned with the ski boot tongue. We went on a long skiing trip and I was excited to try a new pair of socks. By the end of my first day skiing I was in awful pain along the ankles, and readjusting the boots didn’t help. When I finally took off the socks, there was a line of tiny blisters exactly aligning with the not padded stripe of fabric (on the photo, and sorry for sharing it!) I went to talk to someone in a ski shop to check if there was an issue with my boots and they told my right away that the problem was with the socks and the way they were designed. Which was my guess, too, as I never had an issue with the boots before when using usual socks. This is ridiculous, as this product is supposed to be designed specifically for skiing! I had to use compeed blister bandaids all over my legs to be able to continue skiing on my trip. It’s been a week since we’ve returned, and my legs have not completely healed yet. I have difficulty wearing any shoes that go higher than my ankle. If you’re trying to decide whether you should get a pair of these for your next ski trip, please, save yourself and don’t. ... show more

Used these socks on a recent ski trip to Canada where the temp with wind chill reached -15 and my feet were warm. Not toasty. But I tubed and rode w roller coaster and was warm for a few hours at a time. They're great!

Loved these! I bought them for myself to go skiing as they were the most affordable I could find. I'm a woman who wears a size 5 - 6 US shoe and these socks designed for men shoe 7-10.5 US Size fit and felt great! Would recommend and would buy again.

Bought 2 pairs and bought 4 more pairs months later because I was experimenting with socks for ice skates. As an official my feet get cold and I need a warm sock that also goes over a compression sock. Yes I wear two pairs of socks because my feet get cold. These hands down are the best socks I've found to add that extra layer of warmth and comfort. These socks were perfect for my daughters ski trip. They both wear women’s size 7 and 9 shoes. My husband forgot his ski socks and borrowed a pair of these. His men’s size 12 foot fit these too! Great cushion, great stretch to fit a variety of sizes. They have held up well to washing and drying too. These are perfectly comfortable, both at the top (fitting just below my knee without pinching) and soft around my foot (good for walking).
