It's advertised as a TV stand but I was in the market for a shoe rack. My last one was made of fabric and degraded from the humidity so quickly. This has lasted 3 months and going, not a scratch or dent. It comes with a bit of padding for the feet to avoid scratching your floor. The instructions were relatively easy to follow until I had to put the backing on. I realized I had assembled it completely opposite, and had to undo it twice. This WEENFON TV Stand for 55 inch TV arrived well packed in Styrofoam, no damage. The pictographic instructions were easy to follow, just need a Phillips screwdriver to assemble. You are screwing into pre-drilled fiberboard holes, so go easy, don't overtighten. On my stand, one hole to a side shelf was drilled out too large, so the screw just spun, had no bite. Overall, not too impressed with the final outcome. The stand is not very stable on account it is held together by wood screws into thin particleboard. Perhaps stability would be improved if wood glue was used during assembly. So I get this stand put together, only to realize the shelf dimensions are nothing like described in the product listing. The plan was to place my vintage Sony STR-DE945 AVR in the center shelf area. This receiver runs warm, needs ventilation. With the Sony being 17" wide and the WEENFON description claiming 18.2" of center shelf width, there would be plenty of room for air circulation. NOPE - the center shelf on the TV stand is only 17 1/8" wide! And of course, the side shelves have a usable width of just 13 1/4", not the claimed 14.6". These fundamental inaccuracies in the description were a deal breaker - I disassembled, repacked the box and send the stand back to WEENFON. Even setting aside the dimensional issues to the shelves, this product is not recommended on account of the flimsy construction. ... show more

I live in a small awkwardly set up apartment so I needed something to put my tv on. I went with this tv stand because it was affordable and looked nice. Its very nice in person it doesn’t look cheap like others do. I assembled it in 15 minutes.
