He is verrrry picky and I was nervous about pulling off a good present. I was honestly surprised how much he liked it. He pays extreme attention to detail as well as having a strong sense of personal style and he was absolutely thrilled with this jacket. Success!! A nice bonus is that he is an artist, so I fit a personalized pencil in the skinny front pocket and some small sketch paper in the other pockets as a way to customize it. The collar is firm but still soft and still stood up after washing. I was also happy that the sleeves were the right length because I wasn't sure from the picture. (For other people wondering about the fit, he is 5'11", 175lbs and the large fit perfectly). So glad I took a chance on this jacket! I ordered both an olive green and black version and they both look exactly as they are shown in the pictures with no flaws that I am aware of. I am 6'0 230 lbs and ordered size Large. They both fit perfectly. Not too snug and not too baggy. I am planning on getting down to around 190-195lbs and believe that the size Large would still be the best option. If you are my height and heavier than 230-235lbs, it might be in the "too snug" range and would be closer to an XL. (just my opinion based on my fit preferences). The length hits right around the belt line and the arm length is absolutely perfect for me. As for width, I would say it is more slim-fitting. It definitely doesn't look baggy and gross. As for the time of year this jacket would be good for, I would say mid fall and very early spring. It might even keep you warm in early winter. The quality of the jacket is very good. If I had to nitpick anything about the jacket, it would be the zipper (definitely not premium material but not bad by any means) and the zippered chest pocket is not actually a pocket; it is just for looks. The button on the right chest pocket also doesn't have anything to snap to, which is kind of weird but doesn't bother me. All other pockets on the jacket are normal. All in all, I love both of my jackets and would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone on the fence of buying them. ... show more

I never post pictures on reviews BUT! This jacket is amazing. Warm. Good quality. Looks fire. I just got it from my front porch, o haven’t combed my hair, I put it on. Fire. Great buy. This is for the Black 2701 style, the one I bought. The jacket is great - lightweight, but with a bit of lining. It's more than a windbreaker, so this will make a good spring/fall jacket up here in Wisconsin where I am. I bought the XL, the size I normally wear in a jacket, but it was tight so I ended up exchanging it for a 2XL, so keep that in mind before you order one. When I bought this fall jacket I wanted something a little slimmer. It was a nice fit height wise but was a little looser than what I originally wanted. After my girlfriend said it looked good, we realized this is a perfect jacket to wear with fall clothes. A hoodie or sweater will fit comfortably under and still look nice. The fabric is cotton, almost Jean like, but thinner. Very good quality, stitches are nice and clean. I love this jacket, deep hand pockets, comfortably light while still warm. This is a dope jacket. It’s warm for fall days but I wouldn’t depend on it for the snow. It fits smaller so I would definitely order a size up. I am a medium and ordered a large and it fits me well. This jacket fits perfectly which I like as it is typically hard for me to find clothes that fit me online. It is very durable and I wear it when I bike to school at night. There's a bit of flexibility in the shoulders which helps as biking takes a lot of movement.
