I received this piece of armor today and at first look I was very disappointed in it. It felt flimsy, was very lightweight, and all around seemed cheap. Boy was I wrong, I had my roommates boyfriend punch me in the chest as hard as he could, and despite getting the wind knocked out of me, it did it’s job well. The chest protector is very light and it's easily donned and doffed. I'm not sure how much crash protection it will provide but it works well for minor spills. We use them while trail riding but I'm not sure if I'd trust them for mx level protection.

Light weight and has helped protect me from the many falls I've had while learning to ride. Is somewhat breathable, but you'll still sweat where it covers. Could use a little more protection in the front IMO. Doesn't cover ribs or side at all. Overall a decent chest and back protector.
