    • Don’t buy the off-brand
All probes eventually go bad. When my original Weber probes reached their end of life I went the cheap route and bought some off-brand probes. Boy, was that a mistake. They were horribly inaccurate and lasted only a few months before going bad. At that point I didn’t go cheap and bought Weber’s probe. They work well for me. They are much more accurate and they just keep on working. There are some times you can buy an off-brand and they work just as well, sometimes better than, the original. For probes for your iGrill you don’t want to go cheap. Stick with the Weber brand and you’ll save yourself some pain and frustration. ... show more

    • Doesn’t last very long
I like the Weber Connect. I’ve used it 3-4 times a week for the last couple of years. Works well, easy to use and accurate. Only complaint is that the temperature probes last about 6 months with regular use. If you don’t mind replacing them periodically, I suggest the product.

Replacement probe for iGrill thermometer. Works great, easy to clean the probe, flexible wire. I am using the third probe since I have the thermometer, and the probe winds onto a plastic form for storage. The same piece of this has broken on each probe. I doesn't affect the usage of the thermometer or the ability to wind the cable onto it. ... show more

I thought my Weber thermometer was shot and I was going to replace it with a whole new one but I saw this replacement probe for a great price and decided to try it. It is an exact Weber brand replacement and it works perfectly.

    • Easy and Accurate
We bought this for our new Weber grill and the temperature was very accurate so far after about 5 uses. It connects easily to the hub built in the grill and the cord has plenty of length/range. It says to not submerge when cleaning, so I just use a wet paper towel and it cleans off pretty easily.
