I bought this for my 15 year old Weber Performer grill about two years ago. It has held up great and I'm really pleased with how durable the cover is. I've had other covers that have broken down in the elements but almost two years on this one is holding up great.     • Replacement for 1999 Weber Performer Touch-N-Go-Ignition gas/charcoal grill
Our old Performer grill cover 8701 has been discontinued by Weber. We’ve had two 8701’s which lasted from 1999-2021. They were made of a more durable material, but times have changed. After spending a lot of time trying to find a generic replacement for this grill size I called Weber and the customer service person was very helpful in finding a compatible cover due to the older sizing of the grill. (W24” x L51” x H43” to grill lid top. The height to grill table is 29-1/2”. The said the Summit 7174 would fit our old grill. (W36" x L53" x H44.5") We ordered the returned/used like new cover to save money and was not disappointed. The cover was not damaged and in new condition. The dimensions are bigger than the original cover, but it does a great job covering the grill. It’s about 3” longer which is good because the two handles ripped through our other two covers. It is longer and does hang down below the wheels, but has straps to hold it from blowing off. All in all the cover fits nicely and hopefully will last us. ... show more

Got this cover about a month ago and so far it's doing the job well. My grill is no longer being offered by Weber & there are no covers that will fit it, but this one is great for it though a little taller than the grill is, which is great since it doesn't allow any moisture get in from the bottom.
