  • Amazing and easy setup. A must. Forget all others.
Just amazing! Took less than a minute to connect to my monitor. Started Zoom and voila. Video quality is crystal clear. Sound works extremely well. Everyone compliments the outstanding quality. I can even rotate it if I desire without removing it from its place. The amount of Zoom is perfect. I've seen others which are $20-30 more and their auto Zoom option gets your face taking 85% of the view. Also, this webcam shows with two simple light icons on its front, if it's connected to your computer and if the camera is on. It does come with a cam shutter which it takes 10 seconds to peal it. Best if you have Zoom, Meets, or any video app working so you can eye ball the location of the shutter as you stick it. Don't press too much the shutter until you are satisfied with its location. This webcam without an auto Zoom option, with the two light sensors in the front and the peal and stick shutter is worth more than others costing $50-100. It's 1080p, not 4k, but question is: is your monitor 4k? If your monitor is not 4k not 8k, you just throwing money in the trash for buying a 4k or 8k webcam. Highly highly recommend this webcam. Only cost me $20. If I were to need another webcam for another computer or I'm buying a gift for someone, I would not look elsewhere. ... show more

  • Works great.
This camera fulfilled our needs when holding zoom calls. The microphone picks up voices very well even people sitting 5 to 6 feet away. Super easy to set up.

  • Responsive company - products are getting better
Amended review. The company was very responsive after my initial poor review for their webcam purchased in summer 2020 and returned. They contacted me and asked if I they could send me a new camera free - and if I would change my review if I liked the product. I agreed and this is the new review of the new webcam (Depstech Model DW10 1080p FHD webcam). I raised it from 1 star to 4 star. It is clearly better than the original product. I just completed a zoom session with a friend in which I switched between this new Depstech webcam, an older c510 from another company, and my built-in camera and mic on my laptop. They are all "1080 HD" - which I will just remind people, isn't worth anything if the raw optics and sound aren't good. This Depstech webcam produced a very acceptable image quality today. It is a wider angle view than usual - which may or may not suit your setting best. Out of the three cameras, the video image quality of the Depstech was a little below my old standard C510 and about the same as the built-in laptop camera (which isn't terrible for a built-in cam). The Depstech also had a little trouble settling in with light adjustment when there was a fairly bright overhead light in the background. But it did pretty well generally with the picture when that challenge was removed. For audio, the Depstech was clearly in 3rd/last place when compared with the other old webcam and my laptop mic. It was usable and better than the original Depstech unit I purchased - that was really unusable. But it's still not what I would call very good sound. [And I'm not comparing it to high quality stand alone mics.] Still, at this price point, I think this camera is a decent value. ... show more

  • Worth my money!!!
I recently purchased this webcam and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with its quality and performance. The picture and video quality are amazing, with clear and sharp images even in low-light conditions. The built-in microphone provides excellent audio quality and the webcam is very easy to set up and use. I appreciate the versatility of the webcam as it works seamlessly with different platforms and software. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this webcam to anyone looking for an amazing webcam with top-notch quality and performance. In the picture, this is what my webcam looks like compared to my 27 inch desktop. ... show more

  • Great for teaching
I got this product today as part of an effort to improve my streaming setup for teaching. The webcam came in minimal packaging and worked as soon as I connected the USB (I'm running Windows 10). The picture is crisp and the camera does a great job of adjusting to the variable lighting in my living room where I stream for class. I was happy to find a webcam of comparable quality and lower price than the logitech standard that was recommended by my department. An added bonus is that there are LED displays on the camera itself that show you when the camera is being run by an app on your computer. Super helpful for avoiding streaming accidents. I did not get this webcam for its microphone, I just wanted a 1080p cam for streaming. That said, the microphone is great. It's not studio quality or anything, but leagues better than an integrated mic. It has some good noise suppression and picks up on audio in a clear and consistent manner. Overall, this product is great, cheap, and effective for a teacher in need of new technology to facilitate better online classroom experiences. Strongly recommend. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for
I got this to add to my new desktop computer, after previously using a laptop to attend the myriad of video meetings that have become commonplace since 2020. It's an inexpensive solution and it definitely does the trick, which I love, but there are drawbacks: - It's far below the quality of the laptop camera. This is most obvious when I'm in meetings and my image is typically the worst one - it's always tinted a grey-ish blue, with harsher contrasts in lighting. - The wide-angle lens casts the image across a wide area of my office/guest room. The screen shows so much more than my face (including drinks on my desk). My laptop camera had a much smaller scope, so I could get by with using it without a fake background, but the broad view from this camera provides a backdrop that feels too casual, busy, and distracting for meetings. - The tripod was promising but has turned out to be unsteady and annoying. I like having the camera at eye level and was excited that it came with the tripod, but it is always falling over or slightly leaning to one side. It's just too lightweight for the camera and heavy cord. In sum, a fine solution if you don't mind the lower-quality image and a wide-angle view of your surroundings, but look elsewhere if those will pose a problem. ... show more
