The WeatherBeeta ComFiTec Essential Combo Neck Medium features a strong and durable 1200 denier ripstop outer shell with Guard-Tec coating that is both waterproof and breathable with 220g of polyfill. Featuring a smooth and durable 210T polyester lining providing less friction and rubbing of the coat while enhancing shine, traditional side gusset for natural movement, twin adjustable buckle front closure, adjustable & removable leg straps, twin low cross surcingles and standard tail flap.

I normally don't buy horse blankets with the neck on them, but being a penny pincher I thought more product for the buck Ill try it. Mabey its something the horse would like on cold windy winter nights and the barn is real drafty. I was also under the impression that the neck was removeable. Its not. I was looking for a full-neck turnout blanket that wasn’t super heavy. This is a perfect weight for 20-45 degree days for my mare who - has a very fine/thin winter coat coat - lives in a paddock 24/7 - shuns her shelter but does not appreciate being wet (not rational, but hey) The full neck design keeps her neck & shoulders nice and dry in wet/snowy weather while the mid-weight keeps her warm without overheating. ... show more

I am very surprised by the quality of this blanket! I am currently in Ohio and the winters can be brutal, especially for my horses that have lived in california their entire lives. This is one of the best blankets I have bout for them ( and i have bought A LOT!) i love that the neck is connected and not detachable bc it stays in place.
