The media could not be loaded. First off, the packaging and overall presentation of the Kaffiano WDT tool is super premium. The design is well balanced with the black aluminum and walnut wood. Beyond the looks, it has a really sturdy, well-made feel to it. This thing is really meant to be left out on display and not tucked away in a drawer! The setup was easy, simply insert the needles into the tool, which allows for some pattern customization but I just opted to fill all the holes for hopefully maximum extraction, then insert the protective washer and screw the top on. It even comes with a nice walnut case for the extra needles. Now for function, this thing is effortless to use. I leave it sitting on top of my espresso machine and simply remove it from the base when I’m ready to stir my grinds, which can be done with one hand. The base is so sturdy that it doesn’t move around at all. And the needles do a great job of breaking up the clumps in my grinds. I don’t have a fancy grinder so this is really important for me. Now for the outcome, I was surprised with how much of a difference I could taste in my espresso simply by adding this WDT tool to my workflow! The espresso tasted more robust, more rich. Even my wife noticed a difference. I never thought I needed a WDT tool to make good espresso but I am so glad I gave this one a try. Highly recommend! Could be a great gift for a fellow coffee loving friend too.

This is beautiful WDT. Expensive for what it does, nonetheless less beautiful. I like the fact you can decide how many pins you want and how they should be arranged. One thing that I would like to highly recommend to the manufacturer of this product is to stain the wood base with protective coating. I happen to have some wood stain that I could put on to seal the wood because within few weeks(less than 2 weeks) it was getting dry and faded in color, and getting stained if some espresso or water happen to get splashed on it. For the price of this item this kind of finishing touch is a must!

Was originally going to DIY myself a WDT but for the price and it being Amazon I figured let’s give it a shot, especially from a newer brand… Got the unit fast guess Amazon had it close by, box was nicely packed and branded forgot to take a picture, the WDT doesn’t come loaded with needles those come in a bag which you can load into the WDT they hang through holes in the compartment in the handle and then lock in with a washer a pretty nice design. The base appears to be a nice piece of wood and the overall heft of the handle feels premium, the entire thing sits really well and feels sturdy not like some I’ve seen that hang and will tip over with a breeze definitely feels like you get your moneys worth out of the materials and design. Will keep an eye on if they release the 0.20ish mm needles as that I’ve heard can make creaking clumps a hair easier but 0.35 seems to be most common lately available. Forgot to also mention the handles designed with a lot of wholes so you can put a TON of needles in or space them out I did a sort of star pattern and one in the middle we will see if I don’t switch them around or add more after a few pulls.

The quality of this wdt tool is unmatched in my opinion. It feels very high quality and heavy in your hand. You are able to rearrange the needle pattern in so many different way since there are so many holes. Came in a nice box and the etching on the metal and wood is a great touch. So many wdt tools I’ve seen or tried are very generic or simply don’t even come with a holder at this price point. I know seeing products with low quantity of reviews raises suspicion as even I like to go for the ones with hundreds or thousands, but this product truly makes me wonder how many cool products I’ve missed out on simply because some have seniority. I showed my family (they’re not into the whole coffee making process) and even they had to admit that it’s a beautifully made tool. Often times wdt distributors seem overpriced since it is simply just needles, but this is craftsmanship. If anybody has used the 1zpresso line of hand grinders, the quality of this material is on par with that. 10/5 stars from me. I honestly can’t think of any negatives with this product as of yet. If with time I notice some issues, I’ll update, but I don’t see why that would happen.

I have a Breville espeesso machine with a conical bur grinder. Given the quality of the grinder, I was skeptical that something like this could make any difference in the espresso, but my curiosity got the best of me so I got this little gadget. To my surprise this does work. The first thing I noticed was that the pressure produced during espresso extraction was much lower after using this. That means that this device is effectively break up clumps that would increase pressure during extraction. The taste of the espresso is better and smoother, which I attribute to more evenly distributed flow through the puck. I now grind at a finer grade to get the extraction pressure back up to where it should be and this has become a routine part of my coffee making. It only take a few seconds.
