Now I'll be honest, I have a almost 30 year old garage door, which has been through multiple repairs by handymen that did not solve the squeaking when I open and close the door. To my knowledge of research, I'm supposed to spray regular WD-40 Cleaner and then wait a day before I apply the WD-40 Lithium Grease. While using both products, I shook them for 3 minutes before the initial application, and for 15 seconds between every 5 second spray. My forearms and wrist were definitely sore after applying this to all parts of my garage door. It definitely feels much smoother on opening and closing but the squeaking is still there. Now, I know it works because I have also sprayed it on other moving metal parts, and it feels a lot smoother, but I could not get this to solve my garage door issue. My garage door, being under a balcony, is not rusted either, but the issue I did notice is that some wheels roll better along the track than others, which is probably the issue. I did use up a whole can of WD-40 lithium grease.

Stumbled upon one of the video about lubricating the garage, and was recommended to use this type of lubricant. It’s super easy to apply with the pinpoint nozzle. And after a few moving up and down for the lubricants to penetrate, the garage door worked again. I also noticed significantly less noise. Definitely a great buy for garage door, or any metal on metal maintenance.
