I've been wanting to have some fun with our hair, so I decided to order the Waysear tinsel kit. This is my first time working with tinsel, and I am impressed with the color selection in this kit! There are 12 different blends of colors, and they all glisten. The kit also includes a crochet hook, hook ring, tweezers, rubber bands, micro silicone link rings beads, and a couple hair clips. It does not come with instructions, but they are posted in the description. It may be difficult if giving as a gift, so it might be a good idea to print out the instructions. It does take a few times to get the hang of adding the tinsel. It might be easier to work on it together with another person since it is a little tedious to add this on your own hair. I love these! They are so pretty and fairly easy to use. My only complaint is that there aren't instructions in the package so you have to look on the Amazon link to see what to do.

Worth the price ($15.99)? Yes. Notes: I used the lighter blue and purple tinsel to try out first as my friend's hair is split dyed those two colors so we did the invert. Overall the process of installing the tinsel was easy enough, having the instructions was helpful, just be sure not to clamp down the link pieces too close to the scalp otherwise they’ll pull your hair. My hair is very long and I could easily use these strands on my length. For my friend's hair, we just cut them after installing to match her natural length. The only con is that there is far more tinsel included than the link pieces so I’ll have to get more before using all the tinsel likely or learn to tie the tinsel in instead which doesn’t last as long. There is a LOT of hair tinsel in this set. I’ve had hair tinsel in my hair before but have never done it myself. For the price, this was definitely worth a try. The set is all inclusive down to the pliers and hooks. It includes “silicone buckles” that I have never had in my hair before. The idea of them seems to be easier than tying the tinsel directly to hair, but I wasn’t able to do it myself. I am going to try to have a friend assist. I also don’t think they will be very comfortable on my head. The colors included are all as pictured and longer than other sets. I’m going to enjoy changing up the colors as I replace them. The tinsel is soft and lightweight too. My set did not come with printed instructions, but they are all here on the listing to view. This kit is not my first hair tinsel experience, but it is the first kit that I have ever found with such a great variety of colors of tinsel and useful tools. The instructions for using this kit are not printed, but found on the Amazon product page. I appreciate the detailed photos that clearly explain each step of the process and which tools are used for what. The only real challenge for me was trying to add a few strands of tinsel to my own hair. It is just so much easier to see/do this to another person's hair than add it your own. For that reason, I highly recommend recruiting a friend for this and having a hair tinsel party! ... show more

This is a great hair tinsel set! It comes with a lot of tinsel and everything you need! There are a lot of colors and a tool that makes it so easy! I am really impressed by this set. Me and my daughter have tried out a few colors already and our hair looks great!
