The suction is great but I would highly recommend using a saline mist up each nostril, letting it sit for a few, and then going in with this suction tool. It’s tip is very soft and flexible for their little nostrils. The lights came in very handy for distracting him. It is super easy to take a part and clean… almost satisfying to see how much gunk was in his nose and knowing he can breath better. I will say, the battery life is not great. I’m use to doing it the old fashion way, with the tube kit that you can basically get anywhere and the suction comes from my mouth to the tube. My wife wanted something that was convenient. It is easy to use, easy to clean, but I wish the suction was stronger. My wife uses this on my one year old when he’s asleep or sometimes during the day when his nose is runny because of the cold. Compared to the old fashion way, when I use the tube and provide the suction from my mouth, it’s much more effective. I am so thrilled with this gadget. I was a nose Frida fan. But I didn't like how the hose would pop off, or trying to hold it in my mouth while also holding an upset baby, or that my suction power was limited when I, too, was congested. But this, THIS wonderful little tool has made life so much easier. Super easy to operate, skinny tip gets far enough up the nose to get the snot at the back, and super easy to clean. If you can’t see the snot, you won’t use this to suck it out. So if hear sound in your baby’s nose when breathing, but not see the snot. You shouldn’t use this one. Consider using the nasal cleaner to wash the nose.

I bought one in 2021 for my 1st baby and I sorta liked it. Just enough suction. And that baby became toddler and got hold of the silicone tip and chewed it off I was able to buy the replacement tips. 2022 we moved to a new house and so I order a second one to have on each floor. Voila now it's rechargeable with type C charger and much more suckion. Total game changer. I come to order another one and was reading the description and everything is for the older version. Fingers crossed I just ordered another, hope I get the new version, else I'm returning ... show more
