Item arrived quickly and well packaged; Sealed in a heat shrink plastic bag. Overall dimensions of the case are approx 17 inches (width), 14 inches (front/back), and 8 inches (height). Internal dimensions (not including foam are approx 15 1/2 inches (wide), 11 1/2 inches (front/back), and 6 1/2 inches (deep). Case appears to be well constructed. The lid (black in color) has plastic hinges, as does the case (red in color). These hinges however are connected together with a steel rod. The lid has a gasket that when closed provides what appears to be a good seal with the case. An installed air vent, in the case, helps to keep air pressure balanced during changes. Two latches help to secure lid to case and have a nice “snap” when fully engaged. (These latches “lock” and can be opened by pressing a button on the latch.) The carry handle is of good size (my big old fat hand and fingers fit nicely) and appears to be solid and securely hinged to the case. Overall I am impressed with the build quality and function of this case- nicely done. On the inside of the lid, a soft egg foam has been installed. The case itself has a more ridged foam installed that has been precut to support the Milwaukee jump pack, charger, and battery. Fit is very good, snug, and secure. The case provides excellent protection of device and its accessories. (Speaking of secure, the case also has two holes that would allow for padlocks to be installed.) I have used other similar cases by a manufacturer that has a bird with long legs - and I find this case to be of similar quality and at the price, a better value.

I picked up this hard case specifically to store the Milwaukee M18 Hotshot 3841 20 jump starter along with a battery and charger, and it fits the setup well. The custom foam insert is cut precisely, so everything has its own place and does not shift around during transport. It keeps the jump starter protected instead of bouncing around in the back of the truck. The case itself feels sturdy. The polypropylene shell has thick walls and a solid hinge that runs the full length of the back. It opens and closes smoothly, and the latches snap shut with a secure feel. Once closed, it gives confidence that the contents are protected from dust, moisture, and general impact. The IP67 rating is reassuring if you keep it in a vehicle long term. The handle is comfortable and well balanced, even with the added weight of the jump starter and battery inside. It feels like it is built for actual use rather than just light storage. I also appreciate that the interior foam supports the charger and battery without forcing them in awkwardly. One thing to keep in mind is that this is case only. It does not include the jump starter, battery, or charger. Also, the case is fairly rigid and not compact, so you will want to plan where you store it in your vehicle. Impressive build quality, this case is really strong and well designed for holding almost anything. It fits my jump starter perfectly although it's probably overbuilt for something that's not so fragile. There's no risk of the lid coming off, the hinges are really strong and the latches are double locked so you need to press and pull the buttons to get it open. The lid seal is a really nice continuous rubber strip that fits really well, no sign of pinching or falling out when you open/close the lid. The bottom has rubber feet to stop the case from sliding around. When you open the lid the first time there's a strong plastic smell but you just need to leave it open for a few hours and then the smell is gone. The lid is water and air tight but there's a breather near the handle to help vent any pressure. The inner foam is custom to the jump starter and not movable, if you intend to store other items in it you'll need to cut the foam. It's also quite dense with very little movement, the lid foam is soft and pliable. Overall this case is really well built and will protect the content from almost any type of abuse.
