I actually purchased this as a gift...and ended up keeping it for myself... The pattern is very cute. The handles are the perfect length to go over your shoulder. The number of exterior pockets is PERFECT for having kids at the beach or the pool because water bottles and sunscreen need to be more accessible. It zips up top so your things don't fall out. There's even a large interior pocket designed to keep things cool where you can put all the snacks! I now own 2 and my daughter has one of her own. I needed to retire my 10 year old beach/lake/park/movie/camping bag and was looking for one with 2 big ole pockets for my giant water cup. This bag had that and much more! The pockets on both sides can hold a 40 oz cup perfectly! It is deep enough that when the bag is placed down the cups do not flip out because those pockets are deep. I really appreciated the zippered waterproof pocket that lines the inside of the bag along one side. All pockets are deep and hold a lot. The bag itself is tall and big but not too big that everything gets lost in it. It was exactly what I was looking for. The best part was that it was so easy to wash (cold water, hang dry) with no problems. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the straps are thin and did dig in my should but I am looking fro a strap addition that would make it comfy.Only time will tell how long this one will last but I am very happy with it! ... show more

We use this tote for everything, weekend days out and about, snow gear at daycare, or a beach day. Its a great size to lug around by two toddler boys items. It washes well and is deep. Also has pockets and a zipper. Would buy again!
