I picked up these Luv4babe bassinet mattress protectors for the HARPPA Cuddly Sway bassinet we’ll be using for the expected little guy, and I’m very happy to have two of them on hand. With babies, having a spare ready while the other one is in the wash just makes sense. These are made specifically for the HARPPA Cuddly Sway mattress, so the fit is snug rather than loose or bunchy. The elastic goes completely around the edge and holds the protector securely in place. The quilted surface is soft and has a nicer feel than the slick, noisy waterproof protectors I’ve used before. There isn’t that annoying plastic rustling sound when the mattress is pressed or moved. Underneath, there is a waterproof TPU layer to protect the mattress from diaper leaks, spit-up, and the other inevitable baby messes. I especially like that the waterproof protection doesn't make the top feel plasticky. The surface remains soft and comfortable while still giving me that extra layer between the baby and the mattress. They are also machine washable and can be tumble dried on low, which is exactly what I want for something that is going to need frequent washing. The 2-pack is the real winner for me—one can stay on the bassinet while the other is being washed and dried. I’m really happy with these mattress protectors for the HARPPA Cuddly Sway bassinet. They fit the mattress nicely without being loose or bunching up which is important with a bassinet. The quilted material feels soft and comfortable and I like having the waterproof layer for those inevitable little messes and spit ups.
