Soo… if you love a brand that also has an entire watermelon line you’ll love this. This could be used for someone who had more oily skin as a sole moisturizer but, for me I love it in conjunction with another gel moisturizer. It also does very well under my elbows and knees under my regular skin moisturizer. It’s a HUGE bottle for the price and what you get. I received this only a few days ago. I've used it twice daily since, and so far, I'm loving it! This is a squeezable serum that is a touch more watery than, say, a gel cream. The texture is similar to Simple Hydrating Gel Cream (which I personally love), which is similar to Neutrogena's HydroBoost Gel Cream for Extra Dry Skin. If you are familiar with those and like the texture, absorption, moisture, and feel/look of your skin (dewy feel but a soft focus effect -- not shiny -- on how the skin looks overall), you'll like this. This is a serum for texture and moisture with calming properties. It's not a treatment serum -- no vitamin C, peptides, retinols, or anything fancy -- but it does a great job of moisturizing and it doesn't inflame my dry, overly sensitive 41YO skin (prone to redness and rash). I'd feel comfortable applying this right after a light chemical peel or exfoliator and wouldn't expect any burn or stinging (the calming ingredients work for me). The product absorbs well. I give it a few minutes to settle before you top it with anything top. When I pair this with a gel cream moisturizer or sunscreen on top, the hydration lasts all day long. I don't know how this works with makeup because I no longer wear it, so I can't speak for blendability, pilling, or the integrity of makeup after hours of wear. The price of this is so good for the amount you get (you don't need a ton of it, either!). This would boost other products people layer if they struggle with extra dry, sensitive skin, and it would also serve as a lighter, oil free standalone moisturizer for more sensitive, acne prone skin -- a win for everybody! The only thing I didn't like was the smell. It reminds me of the part of the watermelon where you get closer to the rind and the taste is more astringent and sour versus "sweet." If I were being less polite, I'd say it has a slight whiff of "BO" but that fades away completely once the product is absorbed and it's not a big deal to me. I had low expectations initially but after receiving this and seeing how well my skin responded, I plan to repurchase again. ... show more

So I was very hesitant to buy this because 1, I have the worlds most sensitive skin & 2 the scent being watermelon (not a watermelon scent person at all) but I have to say I’m VERY surprised. I’ve been using this day & night on my face & body and I haven’t had any irritation or reactions to it at all! The scent is very light & doesn’t have that “fake” watermelon smell. Rubs in real nice & makes my skin feel great! I also like this because it is one of the “cleaner” moisturizers with the ingredients. This is not a heavy or deep moisturizer so it doesn’t seem to clog up my pores. One of my new favs & go tos! Awesome price too!! ... show more

I read the raving reviews and purchased. The smell is just so-so, not bad, not great. Isn't sticky and the value is pretty good. Smooth texture. However, I wouldn't buy again and will probably just put this in my car to use in a pinch.
