These worked awesome! My daughter has a dip in her ear canal which collects water and is super painful for her. She recently learned how to swim underwater and we had a couple rough weeks in our house 😭 so I bought these and wasn’t really sure they would do any thing... but the fully stopped the water! They’re soft and pliable, so they don’t hurt from just trying to put them in. Ultimately as an adult with small ears and pressure issues, these gave me back the ability to dive to the bottom of the pool without pain. I’m very pleased. I have a little bit of trouble getting one to stay in but I can’t tell if I’m just messing with it too much. Things get very muffled with them in. So they’re decent for noise cancellation. I found myself shouting a bit. Getting them out isn’t hard but I do find it tough to grip them with wet hands. ... show more

I have a chronic condition in my ears and cannot get a drop of water inside without being in pain. I have tried everything on the market and even the silicone which is highly rated, was a joke...at least for someone who can't get any water inside the ear. I was about to go to a specialist and just have a set of earplugs specially made for my ears, even though I have friends who found these didn't work for them either... I decided to give these a try, and was happily surprised to discover they worked. You do have to get them in tightly and I mean tightly. Someone recommended putting alcohol on the the edges of your ear with a swab and I would suggest that as well, to get that tight fit. I do have to take a little bit of time to get them in just right. And I swim a lap to test them and sometimes reajust by pushing them in a little deeper. But generally after that they're fine and I can continue with my workout without issue. I will also note that I do wear a large swim cap to make sure my ears are covered, as extra security. As for those that claim they didn't work, my guess is they were too small or they were not putting them in deep enough to get that tight fit. I would note that a child may have a hard time getting these in tight enough, without assistance from an adult. ... show more

I used these for my 3 year old son for swimming in the pool. He didn’t seem to be bothered by them. He’s an active guy, and it only came out once in about 4 hours of swimming. We are using these since he got tubes in his ear.

My son has had his ear tubes for a couple years and needed these to use in the bath tub and for swimming in the summer. He said they felt good, comfortable and easy to put in and clean.

I got these for swim class. Lately we've had trouble getting water put of her ears after swimming activities. Hoping to use these to avoid an ear infection in the future. We tried them out in the shower and they worked perfectly. Her ears were dry afterwards. They were easy to install and she could still hear. She was worried she wouldn't be able to hear. I was worried about the sizing. She is an above average size 7 year old and the size 2 are a perfect fit. We will try them tomorrow at swim class and I will update. Eat plugs are really hard to get just right for little kids. My daughter had tubes placed in her ears so we use these when she swims. They are as good as could be expected with any ear plugs. They come out occasionally when she jumps in the pool but for the most part they stay in well and they’re comfortable ... show more

My 10-year-old had swimmer's ear a couple weeks before we visited the ocean on vacation, and we were all a little apprehensive about it because he'd had such recent trouble. I picked up these ear plugs before our trip, and they were a lifesaver! He wore them in the resort water park as well as in the ocean and loved them. My main concern was that they would block his hearing, but I didn't even notice! He had no trouble figuring them out and liked the individual case. We did lose one in the ocean, but since he spent that day body boarding, I'm not surprised. My 7-year-old and 4-year-old also tried them but didn't have as much luck getting them in easily. However-- those two weren't really dedicated to it. I feel like we could have gotten them to work just fine if we'd wanted to. ... show more
