These are not like any aqua shoes I have purchased in the past. The material is more of a fabric than a neoprene. They have a nice lightweight feel that seem to breathe better. The longevity may not be as long with the feeling on the water shoe, but the are far less expensive that other aqua shoes. I think they are very comfortable. The grip on the bottom is good on land and in the water. The shoes do stretch some. There are no cord or lace to tighten or cinch them if they are loose. Good value for the low cost.

I was wearing these beach shoes around the house to see how comfy my feet will be in the shoe itself. Just with bare feet in them. I was worried my foot might slide around on the inside, especially if my feet got wet. But they were doing great, and after a while I forgot I had them on. It was a couple hours later, when I looked down and realized I still had them on. That was the defining minute when I realized how great they are going to be at the beach. They were comfortable. They were snug around the tops to keep my feet comfortably encapsulated in place, and were not going to come off in the ocean. There was enough stretch around the toes to keep them snug but not feel tight. I can't wait to wear them at the beach this summer. Especially when we walk the beach at night and never know what might be washed up. There's cushioning on the inside, rubber bottoms on the outside with a stretchy polyester top that will quickly dry. They look good on, and are so comfy I was tempted to keep them on to run some errands, but, decided to save them for the beach. I generally wear a size 9 - 9 1/2 for enclosed shoes, and I got the size 40/41 and they fit perfectly. They seem very well made and I can't wait to get them to the beach!

These water shoes are perfect for a specific set of use cases. They are good for the beach or the pool to help protect your feet if the hot sand or pool decking is too much for you. In this case that are excellent and are very night an lightweight and feel comfortable when wearing. They do have a very thin sole on the shoe, and as such, you can feel the surface of what you are walking in pretty well. In other words, walking on surfaces like I described above if very easy and it feels nice in the soft sandy areas. However, when it comes to very rocky areas, these soles are way too thin to offer any protection and might give the false impression that it will be easier to walk on rocky areas. Based on my past experience with other shoes, don't take a chance with rocky surfaces in shoes like this with thin soles, as a sharp stone can easily pierce through it and can cause more damage to your foot than expected, from the sudden rip in the sole. Again, I actually like these shoes, just pointing out that this style has limitations you should be aware of when using.

Love the Blue Cloud pattern, but the material is too stretchy to keep these water shoes securely on my feet. I tested them walking indoors - my foot slipped from side to side. The removable insert also slipped around inside the shoe. The black rubber sole is flexible, not substantial, and has no drain holes. They are not heavy and the thin fabric should air dry quickly. I wear a woman's size 7.5 – 8 and ordered the 7-8 women's. These are loose fitting. Without the addition of a strap, I am not confident these would stay on when worn in the water.

I saw these and thought they were so unique and colorful. I was trying to plan ahead for a person having a birthday this summer. She can be hard to buy for. We end up getting her very similar things each birthday or going with a gift card. I wanted to try and be more personal with her gifts so I really opened my eyes to look at things that we've never thought of before. This was a great idea. It combines several things she enjoys; birds, beaches, walking. I think she'll be quite surprised by these. I've been on trips with her and I don't think she has any. They are also really colorful and have a great pattern. No more boring water shoes. They seem like a comfortable fabric, easy to get on and quick dry.

These water shoes are middle of the road quality-wise. The soles are medium weight with a good tread. The liners are medium thickness -- not paper thin, but not padded. Material is same -- not super thin, not heavy-stretchy. I have ordered water shoes in a wide range of quality. At the low end, you get something not much better than stretchy socks with a rubber-coating for a sole and a paper-thin liner that disintegrates after one wearing. At the high end, you get thick stretchy material, sturdy soles, padded liner, and (optimally) drainage holes. These are pretty much smack-dab in the middle. There's nothing wrong with them. They will work well for water aerobics, protect your feet from hot sand at the beach, or good for a quick slip on for running to the mailbox. They appear to be of good enough quality to hold up for those uses. Would I buy them for kayaking, water rafting, or anything that required more protection? Probably not. But these are perfectly fine.
