  • Probably need to buy depends too, you'll be peeing your pants!
Style: Family Edition Base Game
This is such a fun family game! It's hilarious to hear the crazy things people will sound like they are saying, plus it makes for a super funny picture. We have modified it for younger players too. The only downside is the mouth pieces can be uncomfortable for some mouths and it does take a few minutes to clean them after play. Still worth 5 stars in my book. ... show more

  • Funny Family Fun
Style: Family Edition Base Game
I saw this game, Watch Ya' Mouth, online in a video and it looked like some good old fashioned family fun! I have to admit that this mouth guard party game can be super hilarious and fun. However there are a lot of cards that were easier to understand than I thought there would be. Its a simple game. You play in teams of 2. The mouth guard is placed in your mouth while you read a card and your team mate has to try and get as many as they can correct before the timer runs out. Fun! Some are so hilarious my tummy hurt from laughing so much! This set even comes with smaller mouth guards so my 4 year old was able to play with us! Even though she can not read we would have someone from the opposite team read her the card and she would recite it to her team member. Its nice that she could be included. We played with family at Christmas too, super fun! You can buy new mouth guards for sanitary reasons, but I found it just as easy to put it through the dishwasher. Fun! ~Thanx~ ... show more

  • Even Brad Laughed!
Style: Family Edition Base Game
This game is so much fun it had us crying. It was so funny even Brad was laughing and he hardly ever laughs. Ever since his wife left he has not been the same. Everybody felt so bad for him at first, but then we started to realize that Julia was so much better off without him. She was a bright, intelligent woman that really deserved a lot better then Brad. She was devoted too, never had an unkind word to say about him even after that whole thing with the waitress from Dennys. I think that was what really caused the whole relationship to fall apart. He never admitted to any of it, but the facts are the facts and everyone just knew he wasn't in Philadelphia for a business trip. Yes we know you have offices there Brad, but why did you need to be there on Thanksgiving? Nobody needs that kind of hassle, especially a pretty thing like Julia. Also, the mouthpieces are all dishwasher safe, so make sure to clean them after every game. ... show more

  • I love this game
Style: Family Edition Base Game
I love this game! It is always a hit when I pull it out when people are over. It is always good for some laughs. It has easily become one of my favorite games. I would suggest buying an expansion pack or two. After a few times of playing it you tend to recognize the cards and can guess pretty easily what your partner is saying. I bought the dirty expansion pack and the phrases are good for a laugh as well. Also, the mouth pieces. The box seems to come with two different sizes. Im assuming some small ones for children. Be careful because it is quiet easy to speak with the small piece and isn't as fun. On top of that after a few times the pieces become more flexible and it becomes pretty easy to hear what everyone is saying. Im assuming its from use and from washing them in the dishwasher. I would buy some extras. All in all I love this game ... show more

Check out my full video review for a clip of us in action and a break down of whats in the box! This is a family friendly version with no cards that I was afraid of my 8yr old stumbling across. • Fun, but very limited replay ability
Style: Family Edition Base Game
My family had a lot of laughs playing this game, but I feel like it's only good for one evening of fun, which makes it pretty expensive as compared to many board games with nearly unlimited replay potential. There are a few issues, but the main one being that there just aren't enough cards. Once you've played through them one time it's easy enough to recall what a card was supposed to say, and then the fun of guessing is lost. If you're playing with 6-8 players as we were, with the recommended 4 rounds per game, then you will only get about 2 games in before you'll have seen all the cards. I know there are expansion packs, but those cost another ~$15, for another 1, 2, maybe 3 plays? That doesn't seem worth it to me. Many, many more cards need to be supplied in the base game. I'm thinking on the order of the card packs used in Cards Against Humanity, or old school Trivial Pursuit. It needs to be a LOT. I should mention that the number of cards you go through in any given game is of course contingent on your success at guessing what your partner is trying to say. We played with kids and adults together (kids, parents, and grandparents). The 'parents' generation was definitely the most successful when teamed together and we should have renegotiated teams to help keep everyone else competitive. So YMMV on how many cards you can actually get through in one game, and the same would go for the expansion packs. Quality-wise, the box and the cards were sturdy and should hold up well. However, we had two of the mouth retractors break the first time we played, so playing with the whole family again means I'd have to buy another set of those too. Also, the game is listed as being good for players 8+, but my 9-yo niece was not able to fix the child size retractor into her mouth without it being too painful, so she was not full included. That of course was a disappointment for everyone. Overall I'm glad we tried it, we really did have a fun time. Oh I would also say that if you're particularly sensitive to 'potty humor' I would opt for the family version over the standard version of the game. It does tend to skew that way. I would also suggest that it might be even more fun to try a DIY approach to the game. You could make an activity out of making up tongue twisters and silly phrases (kids are pretty great at that), or finding some books at the library for source material, get yourself a mixed pack of dental retractors right here on Good Ol' Amazon, and then play your DIY version and have just as much fun while spending less money. ... show more
