I selected a walnut wood out of the four choices of wood; it is made of real wood and has a transparent top window to view contents; there is a soft pillow in each slot to hold a men's or women's watch---exactly as it is shown on amazon in the pictures. Well made and durable; would be a great gift idea or to use to keep jewelry safe while traveling. Removing a pillow and you can store rings or other small pieces of jewelry in a slot. High quality unusual latch and hinges. I highly recommend this product and this seller---it was shipped for free immediately and I received it very quickly. It was exactly what I wanted and the price is reasonable for the quality.

Solid watch case for the price. I'm using this as a second watch case so didn't want to spend as much as my primary one. I agree with other reviewers that the pillows are a bit too small and are loose inside the case. It's fine as long as you're not traveling with the box and your watches. The wood is light in feel and I can't tell what kind of wood it is but certainly a stained softwood. The fit and finish are good, again, based on the price. Overall, you need to spend a lot more to get something that is a step above this. I got the large brown (12-watch) one and it's a good generic wood stain color. I also got the smaller 6-watch black case and the quality is similar. Glass seems solid.

I’m really pleased with this Exer Watch Box so far. The wood finish is excellent (no dents, scratches, or rough spots anywhere). It feels solid and well built; not flimsy like some cheaper wooden watch cases I’ve owned. The glass lid is crystal clear, which makes it easy to admire the collection without opening the box. It even came with a soft cleaning cloth (a little rough around the edges, so I’ve repurposed it for other things, but still a nice extra). All of my watches fit nicely inside this display case, and the lid closes securely without rattling or misalignment. The compartments are sized well for standard watch bands, and the overall design looks great sitting on a dresser or shelf. My only small complaint is with the watch pillows. They’re covered in fabric, which looks fine, but you can definitely feel and hear the plastic core underneath when you put a watch on them. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I do have other watch boxes around this price point with slightly softer, higher-quality pillows. Overall, this is a very nice wooden watch display box for the price. It’s sturdy, attractive, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. If you can live with slightly cheaper pillows, I think you’ll be happy with this purchase; I know I would buy it again. Great choice for anyone with a small to medium watch collection who wants a solid, affordable storage and display solution.

Very nice storage/presentation box for the price: Real wood, smoothly finished and opens/closes well. The maker took enough time and paid attention to making the seams even and the corners line up. I wouldn't suggest traveling with this box because the hinge and latch hardware don't seem very heavy duty, but it's more than adequate for the task of storing a dozen watches nicely on a desk or dresser, and it looks very nice indeed. I see watch collectors paying hundreds for "name brand" boxes, and this seems so much better a deal that I couldn't pass it up, and frankly I'm very happy with it.
