I use these every two months or so to keep my LG front loader looking and smelling fresh. I used to be able to go three months with the older version that smells a little stronger and seemed to clean a bit better than these, so I took off one star. But I still think these latest ones do a good job and are worth using.

My husband has a tendency to close the washer with the inside still wet… this morning I went in to wash some clothes and when I opened it the entire basement got a mildew smell. Fortunately I had some of these on hand and washed the machine on normal cycle with hot water as directed.. mold smell officially gone.

I love this Tide washing machine cleaner for my front loader. I saw some reviews that read it foamed up too much. This may be from build up from too much detergent use. After cleaning crack the door to let it dry. I always crack my machine door after use so it does not get a musty scent from water settling in places you cannot dry. My maching looked BRAND NEW!!! We have a front load washing machine that we do use for my toddler's muddy things as well as my dog's items. This washing machine cleaner gets rid of the scent in my washing machine when used and it also cleans the machine very well! Would definitely recommend this brand over others.
