This comforter is a wow factor! ❤️ It is so impressively luxuriously soft and light, deliciously cozy and perfect for CA year-round Mediterranean style weather. I am sleeping sooooo well with my new high quality feather comforter!!! The Tencel fabric is so soft and cool to the touch! (Tencel is derived from renewable wood sources,it's a cellulose fiber) For the record, I am a picky princess and have always slept with my BB expensive Wool filled comforter and my beautiful Mulberry Silk filled comforter from Amazon...but this WARMKISS Feather comforter has wriggled into my heart. I don't have any comforters with Tencel fabric, so this is new to me. (I do have NAADAM PJs that are Modal/Tencel though from Amazon that are to die for!) This comforter eventually went inside my THX Mulberry Silk duvet cover, but at first I slept with it bare so I could see if I like the Tencel fabric. In case you are not familiar with Tencel, it's a brand name for lyocell/modal. Tencel is a soft, breathable, and sustainable semi-synthetic fabric made from wood pulp. It feels luxurious, a very silk-like feel, has an excellent drape, and moisture-wicking properties. It's considered an "accessible luxury" that's eco-friendly and durable, popularly used in high-quality bedding and clothing. Yes, my beautiful King size comforter is a luxury! I LOVE its premium feel and the Tencel performance (cooling, hypoallergenic, resists wrinkles). A sustainable production, so it is often compared favorably to silk or high-end cotton, 2 of my favorite fabrics. Now the breathable Tencel (and Modal) is on my fav list! I did NOT sweat!!! My luxurious feather comforter came with a storage bag (that came with a smaller,zippered storage bag) and a silver MULBERRY SILK (not Satin!) sleep eyeshade and silk travel pouch! I really appreciate that WarmKiss included these. ❤️ Get rid of those UNbreathable, 100% synthetic ,microfiber, polyester, polyamide, acrylic bedding stuff...for me, it's NOT healthy, especially since I have asthma. Though this one is not 100 percent Tencel...it's just 38 %, blended for durability purposes with 62% synthetic fibers. I don't like that the tag does not state what type of made-in-China synthetic fabric it is, but I didn't take off a star because it has the safe fabric OEKO-TEX tag with test number on it. For this reason, I later inserted it into my THX Mulberry Silk duvet cover from Amazon. This is an incredibly premium, truly light as a cloud, a fluffy comforter. An absolute value for money, it is 50 percent down feathers and 50 percent feathers. I love that one of the tags on the comforter notes that it is sterilized, tested for harmful substances and is OEKO-TEX Certified, plus includes the certification Test number. Also included on another label, is the Down Pass Test number. To help you decide which feather comforter you may need.... 1. Normal fill for a down comforter varies by warmth, but generally, 600-750+ Fill Power (FP) is considered good quality for warmth without excessive weight,. 2. Higher numbers (750+) mean more warmth and loft. Higher Fill Power means bigger clusters that trap more air, so a lighter fill weight CAN be warmer with a HIGHER Fill Power. This WarmKiss comforter has a 750 FP, perfect for year around use! If you need more warmth for a month or two, a gorgeous Merino wool blanket (which I have one too) can be thrown on top and together feels better than a Westin hotel bed! Fill weight (ounces) also matters, for example: 1. Summer weights use less (15-25oz). 2. All-season uses more (25-35oz). 3. Winter uses even more (35oz+). Higher Fill Power means bigger clusters that trap more air, so a lighter fill weight CAN be warmer with a HIGHER Fill Power. According to the seller's photo, its weight is 30g, which is roughly 1.05 oz per 550in(3). My comforter's tag says the Net Weight of Filling is 39oz. However, when I scanned the QR code, I could NOT access any Fill Power info like the seller's picture shows--it was one Chinese sentence only on a white blank background. So, unfortunately, I can't "trace" anything because WarmKiss forgot to make that accessible to consumers in USA. I did not remove a star for that, because the weight was written on the label. This is machine (gentle) washable, but being that its part Tencel and feathers, I only use plant based soaps like The Laundress Delicate Wash, sold on Amazon. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this comforter and so happy I ordered it because I had one finally retired one I had for over ten years. The king size is huge and drapes very nicely over my Queen size bed. The color is more of a pretty bluish-grey, not silver-grey, but I don't mind, love the light blue-ish color better...perfect for my beach cottage home. There are loops to tie it to my silk Duvet cover. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this comforter and so happy I ordered it because I had finally retired one I had for over ten years. This comforter is soft and lightweight, and the color (soft bluish grey) looks nice. I washed it immediately and it had a slightly musty odor until it was completely dried. It does fit in our LG washer/dryer making washing and drying very convenient. As mentioned in the listing, it's a noiseless material and it very snuggly for those you like to wrap up more as opposed to just laying under a comforter. We have two 3-year-old boxers who come into the bed in the mornings. This comforter holds up to their playfulness, their scruffing and scratching, and their seemingly endless circles to get comfortable. Pros: * Sections that keep the down from clumping * King size is plenty big for a king size bed * Warm; this comforter keeps you very warm * Very soft * Durable. Cons: Had a bit of an odor when it arrived. Washing and drying (fully) helped a lot. *there is no lingering smell Warm; if you are a hot sleeper, this comforter may be too much. Even my husband, who is usually cold, found this comforter to be very warm Neutral: Price. It seems pricey, but it is a down comforter.

I like having a light blanket on when I sleep. Having used down bags, blankets and quilts while camping, I am familiar with down. This comforter is perfect for indoors. Sure the down is not the 850 used in my bags and coats, but it also isn’t trying to keep me warm down to 0 degrees. The down fluffs up enough to provide insulation for a bed inside a house. This would be cozy down to about 50 degrees. The plus with down is that it can still be used in warmer weather. The weight of the comforter should allow it to be all 4 seasons. The reason is that it can breathe unlike a normal comforter. Excess heat can be released. The stitching on the comforter is very good. The squares are stitched with baffles. This ensures the down will stay in the squares they are placed. Each square is its pouch, so when washing/drying all the down stays where it should and it makes drying it much easier. It also means that the down will not migrate over time. I have a queen bed, but wanted a king comforter so that it could hang over the edges and not get pulled off. The overhang on this king comforter (on a queen bed) goes almost to the bottom of my box spring. SUMMARY: This is a well made comforter. It has the appropriate amount of down for use indoors. It is washable (if you have a extra large capacity washer/drier, otherwise visit a laundry mat). The stitching on it is well down, with no extra threads found. Each square is its own pocket of down, so it will not migrate over time. The color is like grey putty, which I prefer since a white one would never stay snow white for more than a year or two. I found this to a very good value.

This comforter has been fantastic during the colder winter months. It’s warm, soft, and has that classic cozy “hotel bed” feel when you climb in. The down and feather blend gives it a nice loft without feeling stiff or heavy, and it stays comfortable throughout the night. It’s warm without being suffocating, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The fabric is smooth and quiet, and it feels well made overall. It fluffed up nicely after opening and has held its shape so far. For winter use especially, it’s been great exactly the kind of comforter you look forward to crawling under at the end of a long day.
