This product looks great on my truck after having it painted, but installation is crazy. The double stick tape is not enough to hold it on with its very thin tiny edges. There are rivet attachment points under the FORD letters... but they line up inside the tailgate where all kinds of structural supports are in the way of bolting to the body. I do a lot of work on my own truck but was glad I had the body shop install this one, and believe me they were not happy with the amount of work it turned out to be. Do not think you are gonna tape this to your truck, it wont work. Be prepared to drill, dremmel and mangle the insde of your tailgate if you want this thing properly bolted on. Not well though out.

Looks absolute Great. The letters come out to be FORD. The adhesion tape that comes with it is abosulote garbage and it starts to peel away. I did it in warm conditions to around 70 degrees. Get new 3m tape and silicone the back of it in the center in a few spots so its firm to the truck.

So I have a 2017 raptor which this appliqué will work for. Instead of using the provided adhesives I bought the 3m mounting tape from Home Depot. The top edges may require double layers of double sided tape but otherwise a perimeter of it works well. My only gripe is they should’ve included a raptor badge locator.

Lined up great with my 2015 f150 tailgate,BUT the letters came broken and the 3m tape was missing so there is no way to install this out the box and can never say ford. Also never received the f150 and raptor badge
