This product looks great on my truck after having it painted, but installation is crazy. The double stick tape is not enough to hold it on with its very thin tiny edges. There are rivet attachment points under the FORD letters... but they line up inside the tailgate where all kinds of structural supports are in the way of bolting to the body. I do a lot of work on my own truck but was glad I had the body shop install this one, and believe me they were not happy with the amount of work it turned out to be. Do not think you are gonna tape this to your truck, it wont work. Be prepared to drill, dremmel and mangle the insde of your tailgate if you want this thing properly bolted on. Not well though out.

I didn't mind taping it to the back of my truck. Black plastic is not bad and overall quality is good however it is the Raptor Gen 2 look on a Gen 3 applique where the letters are stretched completely across. Compare that to OEM look

Looks nice when installed. The application design is frustrating. The 3M tape did not sit on the tailgate as instructed. I had to pull off and try to apply tape closer the edge of the cover. This did not work. I had to use more of the supplied adhesive on the edge to attempt to get it to seat on the body edge. It still has a small gap since the 3M tape did not apply.
