Getting used to the shorts having it's own underwear was weird. But besides that they dit great I'm 5'9 175 pounds and medium were great. Very comfortable, breathable fabric good fit, not loose but not tight either.

These are perfect for the gym: they fit well, seem durable (with one glaring exception) and look good. As mentioned in the title, the zipper on one of the pockets on one pair broke, and refuses to repair itself despite my best efforts to get the zipper teeth to reengage. Anyway, no biggie, and I'd actually buy them again.

I've purchased MANY of these shorts (14 pairs of shorts on 10 different purchases). First the good: They fit is great! The liner is great! They look great! They're super comfortable and great to work out in (or for athleisure). The bad: The zippers suck. They come off track a lot and they're not easy to get back on track. In fact, some just never re-attached and/or broke off. I'd say more than half of my shorts have a broken zipper. Some of the patterns/colors I've bought had a lot of fabric breakage. Maybe it's just the luck of the draw? I'd say 4 pairs out of the 14 have been fine, fabric wise. The photo I attached was a pair that I only washed one time.

These are pretty nice lightweight breathable shorts for the gym, and even for casual wear. The pockets are deep, you can definitely fit whatever you possibly need inside of them. The drawstrings are a bit too big, there’s quite the load of slack even when the waist is stretched out. The logos and fabric are pretty average in quality, but they hold up very well. My favorite part about these shorts definitely Hass to be the metal tips on the strings, at the base of the drawstrings, and the zippers. Other than that, these shorts fit well. They right above the knee and when stretching your legs, they come about halfway up the quads. If you don’t like high riding shorts when sitting down, definitely don’t buy these. In terms of sizing, the shorts are definitely fit true to size. The only complaint I have with these shorts is that the crotch area is a little on the less-roomy side. Besides that, they’re a great pair of shorts.

The main reason for buying these shorts was to use them in the gym. I needed shorts that had a zipper so I could safely have the key to my locker with me while I workout, but the zippers are so awful. They get caught in the fabric very easily, its actually hard to prevent this. When zipping the shorts they open back up creating a gap, and trying to fix this is almost impossible, and the zipper is very hard to use (it takes a lot of force). I am amazed at the high ranking of these shorts, that was one reason I purchased them. They might be great if you don't need to use the zipper, but if you do buy something else.
