This thing feels high-quality to the touch. It's definitely the Benz of drawstring bags. You can feel there are layers to the build of the bag, which is nice and gives me assurance that it's gonna keep water and stuff away from my belongings. Pockets! Many pockets and places to put stuff in. I don't even use 65% of the pockets at this point. The shoe compartment is a really cool detail about this bag. I'm a size 11.5 (US) and my running shoes fit in there. Its a tight fit, but not too bad. Also, when the shoe compartment is NOT being used, the build of the bag allows the main area to expand to its entirety, so no space is being sacrificed. I've been using it a couple of weeks, pretty consistently. I might post an update after a few months to see if it's still kicking butt. ... show more

**1+ year update: still my favorite bag for going to the beach, hiking, walking the dog. Very durable as I use it all the time and it still looks new!** This bag is great! I bought it to use for a beach bag, and figured I could also use it on short hikes (<5 miles). I love it! The pink is super bright like I expected, and the straps are nice and wide which make them much more comfortable than normal drawstring bags that dig in to your shoulders. The straps were easy to shorten, although I’d clip them together across my chest to make it more snug if i were going to carry it for a longer time. It’s water resistant from my test of dripping water on it, but since it’s drawstring at the top I wouldn’t expect it keep my things dry in a downpour. Splashes at the beach or drizzle would be fine though! It holds a lot! I easily filled it with sneakers in the shoe compartment (women’s 8.5), and in the main compartment I put my sand free blanket, beach towel, full 67 oz metal water bottle, and two bottles of sunscreen and it was comfortable to wear on my back and there was plenty of room to add my phone, wallet, iPad mini (or a real book), some snacks, or 2-3 cans of white claws. The zipper pocket inside the main compartment and the vertical hidden zipper pocket were both smaller than I expected, really only useful for phone, wallet, keys, etc, not big enough for an iPad mini. The front pocket is pretty roomy though! It feels durable, I hope it holds up for a long time! I’d definitely recommend this bag to my friends. ... show more

I am disabled and not able to carry a regular purse. I needed something convenient to carry my things along with me at all times without being able to use my hands, as I need them to walk with my crutches or my walker. This bag had everything they stated it did and more it has extra pockets and I didn’t even expect which made it even more easily to separate My things to take along with me. This bag is everything they said and more. The one downside is the bag is a little heavier than I anticipated. But with out a doubt the best investment! ... show more

I ordered this bag for my daughter to use as her volleyball bag, thinking it was just another drawstring backpack with a bonus pocket for shoes. It is so much more than I anticipated. I was so impressed from the minute I pulled it out of the package. It is lined, has multiple pockets, great material, actual adjustable straps that aren't strings. We are now planning on her taking it on a trip this summer as her day pack. It will fold up small to fit in her suitcase & will be perfect for days out & about. Bought these for my teen daughter and myself before an upcoming trip to Universal/Disney. I have not used them yet but was pleased when we received them. I bought them primarily because of the separate shoe compartment to keep the bottom of dirty shoes from touching other items (we bring a change of shoes into the park with us in case of foot pain or getting wet). The shoe compartment is plenty big enough for a pair of sneakers plus a pair of flip flops (we have small to average female feet). I really like the organization with all the slip & zippered pockets, which I imagine will be much better than our previous cinch saks in which everything just sank to the bottom making it hard to find what you need. Looking forward to using them & hope they hold up for trips to come! ... show more

    • An one-year bag, very good for light use

This bag lasted me just over one year of moderate use. I used it as a dancer's shoe bag, and an overall day pack. The best feature of this bag is the outside shell. It is very strong, water-resistant, pleasant to touch, and doesn't attract any dirt even though it is black. In a pinch, I could haul really heavy groceries without any worries of shell or straps giving up. Zippers work fine. Drawstrings can twist sometimes and can be messy. The problem is the inner lining that is not tear-resistant. The side security pocket lining tore after 6 months just from carrying a couple of square face towels. Then in just over a year, a half of inner lining of the main compartment suddenly separated near drawstrings. I bought this version of bag primarily for the shoe compartment. That compartment held up very well, but I found it impractical. It shares the area with main compartment so you have to shift your stuff in main compartment to make room for shoes. I quickly stopped using shoe compartment, bought a shoe bag, and used main compartment for my shoes. Also, given the width of this bag around 12" it is hard to fit shoes larger that size 9 through the zipper opening. Given the very affordable price, I could just keep replacing the bag with new every year, but I will look for something slightly wider that can I fit my shoes in more comfortably. ... show more

Just what I was looking for. Looks good, comfortable enough, many storage units and I can fit my sandals in the shoe area . Only down side in the shoe storage area is smaller than I'd like. My size 12 sandals only just barely fit in the bottom. If you are larger feet than me or around the same size but try inserting regular shoes it may not fit.
