It is spacious but, doesn’t crowd the space, sturdy with strong drawers that hold all I need with space to spare. My husband was able to put it together by use of the enclosed clear instructions, and the dark walnut is simply beautiful. Desk top holds a laptop and two peripheral monitors. This is a beautiful desk. If you cant find the perfect antique desk, this is an excellent substitution! Yes, the top is three pieces, but you dont really see it. The drawers feel good and sturdy. I am enjoying it very much.

One of the most disappointing things I have bought on Amazon. The desk surface isn’t one piece, but three. The three pieces do not fit together seamlessly, so the surface is uneven. A terrible decision on the designers part. Should have just made the surface one piece. I’m going to try getting a cover for the top, maybe that’ll help redeem it. The table legs are solid, and by far the best feature of the desk. In my opinion it doesn’t make up for the horrible desk surface though. All in all I would not recommend this desk to anyone. Maybe at a $200 price point, but definitely not at $400. I would return it if I thought I could get all the pieces back into the box. And assuming I could afford the return shipping costs ... show more

The desk arrived well packaged completely covered in Styrofoam weigh 110 The instructions were clear with a solo assembly time of 1.5 hours. Buyer must provide own screwdriver and an electric drill is recommended. This is a solid desk for the price.
