I was a little hesitant to purchase after reading reviews about the nail sets messing up people’s walls. I had zero issues with the installation but I also do know how to use the larger expansion nail piece that the nail sits in. I didn't learn how to do this until this year, but it’s extremely easy. I absolutely love how simple and minimalist this shelf is. It’s cute and keeps my dvds off the desk. And it was easy to install on my wall. It not only came with 4 screws and 2 metal anchors but a tiny bubble level tool to make sure it was straight. Depending on what you plan to store on this I would make sure it was properly anchored or secured to a stud. This shelf does have thickness and weight to it.     • Expensive but worth it?
I don't know what a precision-bent piece of painted metal should cost but it felt like too much. That said, I let my daughter buy them for her birthday gift and was impressed with the stiffness - these shelves are thick and the bolt you use to anchor them into drywall were pretty high-quality (at least to me). I thought it came with a quality paint-job. BTW: the kid likend them too. If you aren't the type of shopper who lays awake at night wondering if they could have saved a few more bucks on that purchase if they had only argued a few hours more, you might be pleased with your purchase.. ... show more

Nice shelf, super easy to install. I used the 3 small screws and is sturdy and looks great! I put it next to my desk, and because is so thin it really brings the beauty of the book covers. Just be aware, is just one unit. I tought I would receive 2 because of the pictures. But the description is accurate so I still think is worth 5 stars ... show more

The shelves were easy to install. I didn't use the included hardware, so I have no opinion on the hardware quality. I would have given a 5 star, except one of the four shelves came with considerable bowing that I couldn't fix by hand or with my available tools. This causes the books to sit unevenly and the sides to pinch in a little. Noticeable, but not worth the effort to rip out of the wall and return. Would love to see more color options. ... show more

These simple shelves are sturdy and came exactly as advertised. They're minimalist and pretty basic without looking cheap; the white color is perfect, a little reflective but barely so, and doesn't look obviously metal. I chose the 17" shelves in hopes that I could drill them into studs on both sides, and the spacing worked out perfectly. They also look larger than I expected. Great shelves! ... show more

I have a very distinct aesthetic and was wary that this bookshelf would look ugly but it looks minimalist and GREAT! my walls are white and the shelves blend in beautifully, I'm so happy I can finally see my books and they bring a great pop of color to the space. not to mention, great price

It was easier than expected to install! The anchors are super secure and the little leveler it came with was adorable and super helpful. Definitely use a power drill though. I placed two shelves right next to other for more length and then went up exactly 1ft for each of the next rows. Came out great. the only thing I wish it that they are more inexpensive as I had to purchase 6. ... show more
