I was kind of worried I wouldn’t like this mousepad after seeing so many negative opinions on YouTube, but it’s GREAT. Used an Artisan zero soft for years and this glass mousepad is honestly everything I hoped it would be. Noticeably faster than my old zero in terms of initial friction, it’s exactly what I imagined a glass mousepad would feel like but somehow there’s still so much control when you need to stop your mouse. It’s a great feeling and I’m happy with it. Maybe the negative reviews were using wrong skates or something idk? I’m using a Viper V4 PRO with the black skates that were included and it feels great to me. Fast and smooth but still very controllable. Also very easy to clean, which was a major reason I wanted a glass pad as I was tired of cleaning my cloth pad. Would recommend if you want to try glass but still want a feeling of control. ... show more

The product is excellent. I bought the CR version (I believe CR stands for "Control"). Its friction is quite similar to the cloth pad I used previously, but the feel is very different since it’s made of glass, and you don't have to worry about it getting messy too soon. If I get the chance, I’d also like to try the version with faster glide. I recommend swapping the mouse skates for the dot-style ones shown in the video (the simple comes with it feel just average, so it's best to buy replacements from other brand). To give you a clear idea of the size, I used a full-sized keyboard for comparison in the video. If your room is dusty, you’ll need to wipe the pad down frequently, as accumulated dust creates a noticeable drag. ... show more

The CR 005 is a great mousepad all together wished it work with the SUPERSTRIKE X2. Soon after getting the pad I realized paired along the superstrike x2 the mouse cursor will jump a lot. I tried many different ways to fix the issue VOD, gaming surface, cleaning sensor on the mouse. But after some research I found lots of other people also had this issue with the mouse and mousepad combo. So if you have a superstrike x2, superlight, or any mouse with the HERO 2 sensor please stay away from this mousepad. This is a problem that seems to only affect the CR 005 so maybe consider getting a VA 005, or SP 005. ... show more

I held off on glass mouse pads for a long time, especially Wallhack. Between all the hype and the wildly different opinions online I wasn't sure they could possibly live up to expectations. I eventually picked up a cheaper glass pad from another brand just to see what the fuss was about and ended up liking it more than I expected. Since I came from Artisan cloth pads, those were always my benchmark and I was curious whether a premium glass pad would actually feel any different. After doing some research I decided I wanted more control rather than maximum speed and went with the CR-005. The difference was noticeable almost immediately. My shots were already great but have become straight up nasty since switching to this pad and tracking feels incredibly consistent. I think glass pads make a lot of sense for people running higher polling rates since the surface feels much more consistent than cloth. I'm currently using an ATK F1 Leviathan 2.0 with Obsidian Pro Air skates at 800 DPI and 8K polling and the combination has felt fantastic. The CR-005 gives me enough control that I'm even considering trying faster skates in the future since my previous glass pad leaned much more toward speed. Wallhack products get talked about so much that it's easy to assume the reputation is just marketing but after spending time with this pad I finally understand why so many people swear by them. ... show more

the glasspad is pretty much how its described by reviewers, it has a smooth even surface with some stopping power. the Silicone base sticks to my desk well, but it does slide around a bit if i really try since i also have a glass desk (note for all glass desk-havers, wipe down and thoroughly dry your desk before putting the mousepad on to minimize slipping). One issue is that one corner of it is slightly warped, so that it doesn't touch the desk (~1millimeter). It doesn't affect the performance of the surface, its just something to keep in mind when buying if it would bother you. Wallhack does state (somewhere deep in warranty) that their Glasspads warp within a small margin or error though so no stars off. ... show more

First pad coming from a desk mat, and I've been blown away by the quality of this thing. I personally would like a smaller size, but honestly I can't complain because this has been a heck of nice upgrade and addition to my setup.
