This does work well and the adhesive is very strong. I used it for two vintage plates but realized I had not placed it correctly so tried to remove the hook to redo it. The adhesive was so strong I was worried I would break the plate. Luckily I didn’t but I would be reluctant to use these on anything very valuable in the future. On the plus side I never worry they will peel off the back of my plates. Very secure.

I wanted to hang a few valuable plates because they were too beautiful to remain unseen in the cabinet, but I was worried that some of the hanging options did not seem secure and some are visible. This option is sturdy and is not visible so it does not detract from the beauty of the piece you are hanging.

Make sure you smooth the bubbles out. I did a test hang. One is was over 24 hrs before I hang it and one was newly stuck on the back and hung right away. Both plates were up for over a month. Both worked, none fell. Hopefully they stay up forever

It’s been about a month now….lost one plate the first day….and three weeks later another one. Not big plates….small, and not heavy at all. I followed directions for mounting…..they just don’t hold onto everything. I haven’t a clue why some release and some don’t…..so don’t use them on anything truly valuable…….I went back and added locktite glue under them,so I didn’t lose anymore plates!

These are working well for a mini gallery wall of collected pottery of various shapes/sizes/materials. Very easy to apply and are holding well so far (it's been a few weeks). Would order again.

Washed the plates (2 - 6" and 1 - 8") thoroughly with dishwashing liquid, rinsed them well, and dried completely. Let the plates sit in a cabinet for a few days. Applied the hangers and made sure all the bubbles were forced out. Let the plates sit for a few days to make sure hangers were securely adhered before hanging. Plates were hung. Checked hangers twice in two week period. Second check revealed one hanger's edges curling up and separating from 6" plate. Gorilla taped all of the hangers on all four sides of each of the clear tabs to which the hangers are attached. Potential danger averted. Will keep an eye on the Gorilla tape, too. The hangers are sturdy and the adhesive is very sticky. However, it appears that the edges of the adhesive may dry up and separate from a plate. Advice is to use back up and do not hang large, expensive, and/or irreplaceable items directly on the wall. It is better to go with a visible plate hanger or wall shelf to ensure the safety of treasures.
