I love this shelf. It worked out perfectly for me. Was exactly what I wanted, and made my office space work so much better. I have a big office but still couldn't get things where I wanted them, without having to run around all over the room to work. This allowed me to put items close to me so I can do almost all of my work without having to get up every few minutes. I am so happy. But please measure before you order this unit. It's big. The biggest shelf is 12 inches - and you don't realize how much that is going to stick out into your space. I have lots of space, so it worked great for me - but it would be hard to return something this big and this heavy - so I just suggest you measure so you are prepared for a big unit. If you do - I highly recommend it. Makes me smile every time I look at it. Makes me feel organized, even if another space is not. It calms me to see it in my space. ... show more

I purchased the Wall Control Office Wall Mount Desk Storage and Organization Kit, White to install above one side of a U-shaped desk setup. I am a senior lady, and I found installation of the metal panels to be fairly straightforward to do alone. Unfortunately over the desk placement of these 16" wide panels did not hit any of my 24" on center wall studs. I measured and chose the placement of the first panel. Pressing it against the drywall with one hand, I used a bubble level on the top and side until I was satisfied it was located properly. Then I grabbed a pencil and marked through each of the 6 screw openings. I did not use the drywall anchors that came with the kit. I have a terrible time hammering the little sleeve into a hole in the wall without smashing it or losing it behind the wall. But that's just me. I chose Toggler Snapscrew Self-Drilling Drywall Anchors for the job. I used my cordless screwdriver to set all six anchors. Then, holding the panel against the wall with one hand, I placed the screws through the mounting holes and drove them partially into the wall anchors. The mounting hole slots have a little bit of leeway to them so that you can nudge the panel a bit until it is level. Then you finish driving the screws tightly. The screws that came with the anchors had relatively small heads, and not all of them "caught" the edges of the panel, so it was not secure. I grabbed some extra screws out of my collection and found some that worked well. Then it was just a matter of lining up the next two panels, leveling them, marking the spots for the drywall anchors, and driving the screws. The panels are all rock solid! Installing the shelving and accessories was pretty simple. The hooks that fit into the slots have a special configuration and allows for snug connections that don't pop off when you lift things off the hooks or shelves. Here is why I did not rate this product Five Stars: Two of the six shelf dividers seem defective. One is difficult to place in the slots, the other one I couldn't insert at all. A couple of the shelf supports had bad paint jobs, with grey metal showing through. And two of the panels were bent a bit at the corners where the screw holes are. Not enough to prevent a good installation. Overall, the product was very well packed and shipped, nothing was sliding around loose in the box, and nothing was scratched. I would recommend this product for a home office. Mine is mostly for ornamental purposes. ... show more

Amazing thing to have in an office. Matches my walls, my dresser, and just looks sleek, clean, and professional. The other color options make it look cool to suit people who want a bit more fun and flair. Of course, its also very functional, and there is a lot of modular utility with how you can set these shelves up. I love it. My only very small complaint is that the individual hooks they provide to hang scissors and such, easily fall out when lifting things from them. Some of them are also difficult to put in due to the drip from the coating, though this is easily fixable by (carefully) shaving off some of the coat with a razor. ... show more

I don't typically write reviews, but what a great time to start. The panels were really easy to install with two people, but I suppose you could swing one person. I simply marked the drill holes, pre-drilled, and used the provided screws. The shelves are sturdy and hold enough stuff. I like that the panels are magnetic because I was able to use some of magnetic organizers. The hooks provided are perfect for my scissors and such. The main benefit to this is that there is a lot less stuff on my desk that is now on the shelves. Great for a cluttered desk. The best use I've found is using the largest shelf as an ergonomic computer lift in conjunction with my standing desk. (SEE PICTURE) ... show more

This is the second kit from Wall Control I have ordered. It's not up yet, but it arrived in perfect shape. This one is very heavy, tho, I think because of the shelving, so have some help getting it in the door. (I'm a gramma). I opened it in our entry and took parts of it down stairs where I needed it. That way I could handle everything myself. Great product! I have heavy hammers and wire that I hang on these and I can use all the peg board pegs I had that are the 1/4 inch. Love it! ... show more

Easy to assemble and mount. Nicely packaged and came with all the pieces shown in the picture. Great price when compared to our local Container Store (they are double the price with everything sold separately!).
