I'm in my 70's and have a failed back surgery which severely limits my walking, mobility and balance. I got brave and booked a vacation from Texas to New England, via airplane. I knew there would be a lot of walking involved which really concerned me, but I needed to see where I was raised one more time before I'm just not able. I ordered a very sturdy rollator to bring with me, which was GREAT! But, I had considered this cane early on and wasn't going to order since I had the rollator. At the very last minute, I changed my mind and ordered the cane in the purple flower print. WOW, am I really glad that I did. That cane made it's way from CT to RI to MA. Rather than hauling out the rollator, I used the cane when I had a short walk to make. The fact that it folds up and has the larger, supportive tip was a Godsend for me. I could fold it up and carry in my tote bag and use when needed. It snaps together very easily and offers a good deal of support. Thanks Amazon for the last minute, quick delivery. This cane is pretty, lightweight and easy to use. The handle is comfortable even though it's hard plastic. The handle does make it easier for the cane to fall when you lean it against something though. My hubby was able to easily change out the tip. The tripod tip works well, and I do not find it too heavy. It enables the cane to stand by itself on a hard surface. I'm almost 5'8", and the height adjusted well for me. It appears to be adjustable for someone a few inches taller than me and someone several inches shorter than me; I have it on the next to the last notch. I haven't tried to fold it but it comes with a band that goes around it when folded. I don't know how durable it will be, but it is certainly fine for short-term use or use by someone who is not too heavy for it. I would expect it to last a few years, at least. I love this cane. It's pretty and matches my closet so I feel less self conscious when I have to use it as I'm very young compared to the average age of cane users. I love the sturdiness and compactness of it. I just didn't like the feel and thicknesses of the tips just because it didn't fit my needs. I did get a new tip from drive medical and it made it a 10/5 star cane! Overall this fits most people's needs as it's bought and doesn't compromise between function and style! This product is not only beautiful but it replaces the one I lost. I love it. The price was incredible the item is sturdy well made beautifully painted and to make an even better deal of you can believe it they sent an extra bottom piece which turns it into a free standing and extra secure cane I am over the moon happy. I like using this came as it folds up nice and neatly. When I go to the store, I can fold it up and put it in the cart and use the cart to walk. Also nice when I travel so it can be folded up and put in the seat pocket in front of me so it is handy yet I don’t have to try and put it overhead and have it disappear to the back of the plane. ... show more

I needed a cane that was sturdy & I didn’t have to worry about it falling if I let go. This one works really well & is pretty. Cons: hard to switch the bottom pieces so it will be difficult to fold up the cane. Wish it had a more comfortable handle.
