    • Have a Brazos hickory stick and highly recommend one!
Can I write a review even if the Brazos walking stick I have was bought at a local hardware store? Spotted it at checkout line shortly before total knee replacement, hefted it fit fit and feel, and decided it was way better than whatever cane would be medical-insurance approved. After using it 2 weeks after surgery on a week-long trip between Florida and Iceland for a family wedding, I can say it was worth every cent I paid out-of-pocket for it. And the price I’m seeing today on Amazon for a similar stick (37” hickory) is about $15 <less> than I paid. I’m all in favor of supporting one’s local hardware store, but unless your need for a stuck is more like “leak under a sink from a part it turns out you don’t have a replacement for already on hand” where “overnight delivery” loses to “15-minute round trip to the local store”, I would recommend this, ... show more
