I've been trying a lot of different ear bud type ear protection options. A long time ago I started with muffs and found them good but felt a bit bulky and the batteries needed frequent replacing, especially if left on accidently. I decided to go back to this style and so far I'm really impressed with the voice quality and life of the battery. So far I have only charged it periodically and not had the battery run out on me. They are comfortable and my only issue is the stock bumps the one side when aiming so I have to be mindful of that but even that hasn't been bad. I bought the pair that supports behind the head rather than over because it was cheaper and seemed to be just as good as the over the head band. So far, the behind the head design has been more comfortable than expected and was a good choice. ... show more

    • These work great on the indoor range

I shoot at an indoor range 1 - 2 times a week. I've been using my AOSafety over ear muffs (30db noise reduction) from my woodshop for a long time. These have outstanding noise reduction but I can't hear anyone talking to me on the range. A problem when you shoot with friends. I purchased these Walkers and they work fantastic. I can hear everyone at least 5 lanes on either side of me talking like they are right next to me. Sound suppression of pistol and rifle shots are not a problem at all. Not as good as the AOSafety ear muffs, but plenty good enough even on the indoor range. They are very comfortable to wear as well. Not the cheapest set out there, but I can tell you these work well. Yes, there is some hiss coming through the headset, but I don't notice it when I'm on the range. I'm not missing bluetooth, no need to listen to music when I'm focusing on shooting. If you just want good comfortable hearing protection for the range that still lets you hear others talking, then these are a good choice. I haven't compared to less expensive alternatives. After reading a bunch of other reviews it seemed like these would do the job best. ... show more

These are great Ear protection! You really can hear voices very clearly and the protection cups are very comfortable, even when worn for an extended period. The one disappointment is that these don't fit underneath my helmet. Not a deal breaker, as these are still great ear protection and plan on keeping them for duty work. ... show more

    • Solid Product, Bulkier Than Desired

As the subject line declares, this is a solid product. The headset is bulkier than desired rendering it incompatible with grandfather's country club bucket hat I wear for mowing and shooting. I can use my Rx lenses with these when making finer adjustments to sights, but can't just slip the glasses on in a moment of need. However, that would be true of any headset style hearing protectors. Those were my only complaints. The good far outweighs the inconvenient. There is no bad that I have found with this product. I used these hearing protectors yesterday in mid-90s heat, typical mid-June Southern Middle Tennessee humidity and found them comfortable enough for several hours outdoor shooting. I was able to converse easily with the other shooters while the headphones effectively muffled the sound of .44 magnum, 12 guage, 556, 7.62x39, .45, 9mm, etc., all day long. This product I received as a Christmas gift but if I had spent money on it, I would have been pleased with my purchase. Highly recommended with caveats mentioned in the first paragraph. Simple to use and just plug in a USB-C charger to charge the internal battery. Super easy to use with a very comfortable head strap to wear. One thing I really like is the ability to adjust the type of sounds you want to enhance, voice, wildlife, music, etc... The ability to protect my hearing while comfortable makes this product good but not having to search for batteries and just simply plug in the headphones to charge makes this product excellent. Very few other headphones even have the built in charging interface. You can't beat this product for the versatile ear protection and the price. A must if you need ear protection. ... show more

    • Not for large heads

I bought this set of earmuffs because the behind the neck band was supposed to be easier to fit large heads. I gave it three stars because the features of the product were executed quite well. However, the fit of the behind the neck earmuffs is not sufficient for my noggin. I wear a size 8 to 8 3/8 hat, depending on the maker. I have a large head, I realize that I have a large head, I am still in search of a pair of earmuffs that will fit my large head. The regular (over the top of the head band) Walker’s earmuffs in coyote are the other pair I have, and they actually fit better than the behind the neck model (but are still small enough to hurt after a couple hours). So if you have a larger head don’t expect this product to work for you. Specifically the product failed when looking up and down, and side to side. It was uncomfortable when trying to place the earmuffs in position and the only way I could get the earmuffs on my head without jamming the strap up against the back of my head would have prevented the ear seals from sealing. I wish manufactures would make their products just a bit bigger if one size is supposed to fit most/all. ... show more

These ear muffs are amazing the weight makes it feel like it’s not even there at times and the quality is truly built to last. The performance of these ear muffs are truly stunning when it comes to simple snaps of the finger to shooting large caliber rifles you can’t hear a single thing. If you are military and need ear muffs to fit your ach this is the headset you need it fits my standard issue ach like a glove.
