    • Rechargeable ear protection that works well!
Style: Firemax Behind the Neck Earmuffs
I've been trying a lot of different ear bud type ear protection options. A long time ago I started with muffs and found them good but felt a bit bulky and the batteries needed frequent replacing, especially if left on accidently. I decided to go back to this style and so far I'm really impressed with the voice quality and life of the battery. So far I have only charged it periodically and not had the battery run out on me. They are comfortable and my only issue is the stock bumps the one side when aiming so I have to be mindful of that but even that hasn't been bad. I bought the pair that supports behind the head rather than over because it was cheaper and seemed to be just as good as the over the head band. So far, the behind the head design has been more comfortable than expected and was a good choice. ... show more

    • These work great on the indoor range
Style: Firemax Behind the Neck Earmuffs
I shoot at an indoor range 1 - 2 times a week. I've been using my AOSafety over ear muffs (30db noise reduction) from my woodshop for a long time. These have outstanding noise reduction but I can't hear anyone talking to me on the range. A problem when you shoot with friends. I purchased these Walkers and they work fantastic. I can hear everyone at least 5 lanes on either side of me talking like they are right next to me. Sound suppression of pistol and rifle shots are not a problem at all. Not as good as the AOSafety ear muffs, but plenty good enough even on the indoor range. They are very comfortable to wear as well. Not the cheapest set out there, but I can tell you these work well. Yes, there is some hiss coming through the headset, but I don't notice it when I'm on the range. I'm not missing bluetooth, no need to listen to music when I'm focusing on shooting. If you just want good comfortable hearing protection for the range that still lets you hear others talking, then these are a good choice. I haven't compared to less expensive alternatives. After reading a bunch of other reviews it seemed like these would do the job best. ... show more

    • Strange fitment, but excellent function!
Style: Firemax Behind the Neck Earmuffs
The fitment of these headphones is the main thing to discuss. The speakers and microphones work great as expected and the volume is very good as is the sound deadening. These have an unusual system of two headbands to secure the phones to your head, and I always find it a little confusing as to how they are supposed to fit when I go to use them. Once I figure it out and they are on, they fit securely, and they can be used with a variety of hats, which is a huge plus, and the battery life is excellent. To be clear, many hats fit right over the top headstrap, minimizing the look of these devices. Most headphones have to go over the hat, severely limiting the type of hat that can be worn. It's a unique system that worked for me once I got used to it. I can definitely see some people not liking it, though. I cautiously recommend these, with the caveat that you may not like the unique head fitment. That is going to be a matter of personal preference, but the performance of these cannot be denied, they work great!. ... show more

    • Don't buy Walker ear muffs, buy PROHEAR brand.
Style: Firemax Behind the Neck Earmuffs
Walker ear muffs are pretty good, they perform as stated, they only get one (1) star because they have THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE of any company I have ever delt with. I had an issue with my ear muffs and contacted their customer service asking about how to repair them or get a replacement, I sent five (5) emails, the only response I have gotten is a generic AI computer response, I have never communicated with a real person. So, I called their customer service number, I was told a customer service supervisor would call me right back, never heard back from them either. So, based on all of this I'm going to suggest you save your money, don't spend it on Walker products. If you are looking for a good pair of shooting ear muffs let me suggest PROHEAR Brand, sold here on Amazon. My wife has a pair of the PROHEAR shooting ear muffs and they perform just as well, if not better than the Walker ones. ... show more

    • Good, but didnt work for what I wanted them for
Style: Firemax Behind the Neck Earmuffs
I have a slightly larger than average head. The non adjustability had it feel a bit tight on me. Did not fit under my kevlar helmet which is what I bought them for. Got these for a good deal so im not too upset

    • Solid Product, Bulkier Than Desired
Style: Firemax Behind the Neck Earmuffs
As the subject line declares, this is a solid product. The headset is bulkier than desired rendering it incompatible with grandfather's country club bucket hat I wear for mowing and shooting. I can use my Rx lenses with these when making finer adjustments to sights, but can't just slip the glasses on in a moment of need. However, that would be true of any headset style hearing protectors. Those were my only complaints. The good far outweighs the inconvenient. There is no bad that I have found with this product. I used these hearing protectors yesterday in mid-90s heat, typical mid-June Southern Middle Tennessee humidity and found them comfortable enough for several hours outdoor shooting. I was able to converse easily with the other shooters while the headphones effectively muffled the sound of .44 magnum, 12 guage, 556, 7.62x39, .45, 9mm, etc., all day long. This product I received as a Christmas gift but if I had spent money on it, I would have been pleased with my purchase. Highly recommended with caveats mentioned in the first paragraph. I may get another pair of these. ... show more

    • No more replacement batteries
Style: Firemax Behind the Neck Earmuffs
Simple to use and just plug in a USB-C charger to charge the internal battery. Super easy to use with a very comfortable head strap to wear. One thing I really like is the ability to adjust the type of sounds you want to enhance, voice, wildlife, music, etc... The ability to protect my hearing while comfortable makes this product good but not having to search for batteries and just simply plug in the headphones to charge makes this product excellent. Very few other headphones even have the built in charging interface. You can't beat this product for the versatile ear protection and the price. A must if you need ear protection. ... show more
