I've been using this type of hanger for over 15 years now. They are extremely sturdy and I've had the exhaust rust off before these have ever failed on me. Before I install them, I give them a coat of weldable paint and afterwards finish the hangers and the exhaust with some aluminum colored high heat paint in the area I welded to keep them from rusting, as they are just standard cold rolled steel. ... show more

I used this on a custom exhaust I am building for a 2019 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 5.7L. I bolted this on to where the hangers for the old suitcase muffler was and welded them to the new flowmaster. They hold really well and I don't see any issues arising. The metal is thick all the way around so it won't be bending or rusting through. The rubber is thick too and definitely cuts down on vibration. Over all I really don't have any complaints its a simple and effective bolt/weld on system that works really well. ... show more

These arrived and are even better than I expected, especially for the low cost. They are really heavy duty generic hangers with plenty of length available on the rod that is intended to be welded to the pipe, fitting, or muffler in your exhaust system. The hangers have an isolation rubber bushing which should reduce noise from the exhaust system. Note that the attachment rod is not threaded -- it is designed to be welded onto the exhaust system. The bracket that attaches to the vehicle is plenty strong and has two mounting holes drilled into it. ... show more
