This desk is beautiful! The price point is fantastic! The glass has a green tint. I see that some reviewers photos show the glass pieces the wrong way! You do not want to place the glass with the white side up because your desk will get marked up and peeling in no time! I think it looks beautiful , even though the glass is tinted. I was worried, after my husband first put it together, that it would not match my studio/office as the furniture and room is predominantly white. But once the room was put together it fit the room perfectly. It's very modern and chic. My hubby says that when assembling this desk, it will seem wobbly at first, but once it is assembled it will straighten out. You can also adjust the legs screw in protectors/stabilizers. He also said that when assembling he did not tighten all of the frames screws until the very end. The glass is held onto the frame by suction cups, which surprisingly is very stable, and I haven't had the glass shift at all. It's a very nice desk and I love it! It looks great with my white leather desk chair too! It is also a space saver, but yet has tons of work/surface space. It actually appears smaller than it actually is in my photos. ... show more

    • Perfect For My Work-From-Home Situation
My company sent us home to work six weeks ago. Initially, I thought it would last maybe a month or two, so I set up on my (round) kitchen table—strictly for the time being. But recently, it's become apparent that this work-from-home arrangement could go on a lot longer. So, I needed to get something more ergonomic. This work station fit the bill perfectly—price-wise, size-wise... and, most importantly, my wife approved of it being in our small kitchen space. Ha! I use a double monitor setup, so I needed an "L" shape station. It accommodates two large iMac monitors and has plenty of utility/desk space to boot. Assembly was fairly easy. But be sure to study the drawings in the instructions carefully, as it's easy to put the wrong X-brace/legs in the wrong direction if you're not careful. I'm really good at putting these things together, and even I had to un-do one leg section and replace it with one of the others. All-in-all, very happy with this purchase... and the company paid for it, so even better. ... show more

    • Attention to detail when attach desk legs- chair will be blocked if attached backwards (directions didn't detail this part)
So far a great desk. I bought this for my home office and decorated it with a lamp in the corner and some binder folders to hold my loose papers. It still has a ton of space. I love the two working sides- it allows my to work comfortably on my laptop while keeping my paperwork laid out on the other side. Some tips for assembly- having a buddy REALLY helps. If you could've only see me pulling the yoga poses trying to balance one side with my foot while bending sideways to screw together the pieces. Note that the legs of the right and left portion have a bar at the bottom. Make sure you're attaching this so that the bar faces away from where you're sitting, otherwise you will not be able to push in your chair all the way. I just noticed that's why I keep getting stuck so I'll have to unscrew some parts and fix that. Occassionally the glass panes get pushed back if i am reaching over, but nothing too major. Otherwise, very study, clean looking and a modern touch to my office. I have this over a navy and white damask carpet- love it! For the price- definitely would buy again. ... show more

I really liked this desk on the pictures and according to the reviews it is sturdy, so I bought it. It came in 6 days instead of the promised next day with Prime. It was packaged amazingly good. Double-boxed, crazy amount of styrofoam inside, insane amount of packaging cardboard and paper. Even if the outer box was damaged during the shipping, all parts (including the glass) were intact. Easy to assemble and fairly sturdy. Biggest problem I have with this desk is, that looks very cheap and boring once assembled, so I had to do something about that. Thanks to the frosted glass this desk comes with, I was able to pimp it up the way you see in the pictures. Now I really like it and very happy I bought this exact one. I believe it would have worked well with the black color desk also. All necessary parts for this project are available on Amazon - RGB LED strip with controller and remote, 12V 3A power supply. I'm not sure if the white foam boards I cut and placed under the desk is available here, I bought it from the local 99 Cent store. I love how it turned out and already got a lot of compliments for it. I do recommend the desk, especially to those willing to put some extra effort to make it look good. ... show more

    • Great replacement for an older desk unit.
After using the same desk unit for 25 years, I chose this as a replacement. Putting it together is a one person job. Lay out all the pieces, organize your hardware before starting. The assembly tool is easy to use. When placing the rectangular glass pieces on either end, leave the outside screws loose, get the glass placement flush with the frame, then tighten the screws. The directions suggest tightening the inner screws at the quarter circle, but that is awkward and doesn't work. Have a towel(s) or rug underneath as you put all parts together. It provides a protection for your knees and prevents scratching. Took me just an hour to put it together. The resulting desk is efficient, and gives the room a more open atmosphere. I also ordered 2 glass monitor stands(for MAC andPC) plus a corner riser for the printer. This will give me more surface to use. 70+ years old and very happy with the desk. ... show more

I purchased this desk just shy of a year ago. Thought it was sleek and clean looking. Fast forward to this morning when I was awoken by the sound of what sounded like someone breaking into the house through one of our windows. Nope. Turns out it was one of this desk's glass tops self-exploding. I should've checked the reviews better before purchasing as this looks to be a common issue. I previously owned a black version of this desk - same L-shaped design but different model, also glass - which I owned for many years and never had this issue.
