I’m very happy with this piece! It has a clean and modern design that fits really well in my living room. The assembly process was straightforward – it took me about 3 hours to fully assemble using power tools. The instructions were very clear, with lots of reference points that made everything easy to follow. Style-wise, it has a sleek and minimal vibe that goes great with contemporary furniture. It’s definitely a good-looking piece for the price. A couple of things to consider: the included door hardware could be better – soft-close hinges would have made a big difference. Also, the wood is on the softer side, so you’ll want to handle it with care during assembly to avoid dings or scratches. I needed a better TV stand in my home office and went with Walker Edison’s Scandinavian reeded TV stand in English Oak. Below are the reasons why I am so glad I went with this option! 1) There was no odor or out gassing when unpacked 2) The materials are hefty and all high quality (yes that also means there is some weight to them so some people may need help moving, unpacking and assembling) 3) The directions and materials are all logical in layout and instructions. Probably the best I have ever seen which made assembly that much easier. This set the standard for what good looks like! 4) Once assembled (I added pictures of the phased assembly process) the TV stand is solid and doesn’t feel cheap. It feels like I bought this fully assembled. Again, it is a quality piece of furniture that looks and feels great! 5) I now have a beautiful TV stand in my office that can hold a 70 inch TV (no I’m not getting one that big), has ample storage and the cord management capabilities are legit. This piece has solid manufacturing with easy assembly and a sturdy design. It uses a combination of pins and fasteners, and while it’s mostly particleboard, the laminate has a natural look that blends well with the solid wood legs. The assembly wasn’t overly complicated, and the fasteners didn’t cause any chipping or cracking. The doors went on relatively easily, though having a second person to help support during installation would have made it easier. One door ended up noticeably higher than the other, and the suggested height adjustment in the instructions didn’t fix it.
