  • Cheap, nice, but wobbly
I needed a new small, glass desk for my son for his new computer to replace the old small glass desk. This doesn't have the base platform his old one did, and for that reason it's a bit wobbly. The only thing keeping it together is the bar across the back and the desktop with pullout keyboard tray. It still looks nice and serves it's purpose though. I just wouldn't trust it for any serious work by itself. Now if you're getting it to complete the desk set, then that's a completely different story as you'll have to mount it next to the other desk and make it sturdy. But by itself, no. ... show more

  • Excellent for small spaces, but the design and materials leave some things to be desired
I do like the overall design and space saving qualities of this desk, but there are some things any buyer NEEDS to know beforehand. First, the glass used is rather thin and not attached securely. DO NOT attach any sort of bracket to this desk that bears any sort of load, like a wrist, arm, or elbow rest or a monitor arm. It WILL BREAK the glass! The glass shatters completely as tempered glass is designed to do, so large shards aren't an issue, but small cuts can be. The design also excludes any other place to attach any such device. I found this out the hard way and needed to fabricate a new top shortly after setting it up. I also happen to be thankful I was wearing jeans at the time. ALSO, the design and material strength of the desk's metal frame is rather thin. The designing engineer did a great job making up for a lot of that, but DO NOT place any large monitor on this desk. I figure it should be able to handle about a 27"-32" MAXIMUM, and that is if you don't have too much more on it. It can't handle a whole lot of weight. It seems to be meant for just a laptop and maybe some small accessories. ALSO, DO NOT put your feet up on the cross support. It is far too weak to handle such a load. It is a light desk, meant for light duty. The price reflects this. You get what you pay for. Don't expect too much from it, and it will not let you down. ... show more

  • So happy I found this desk!
I bought the Sorento 3 pc L shaped desk 9 years ago and I love it. I recently started a job where I work at home, but the 3 pc only has a computer tray on one desk. I bought this single desk with a computer tray and swapped out the one I have that doesn't and it worked perfectly! Now I have an L shaped desk with computer trays on both desks, one for work and one for play. ... show more

  • Pretty good!
Overall it is a good product and I got it at a low price so i’m happy with it. I’m typically pretty sufficient and putting things together, but certain parts of the assembly had me super confused and I wish the instructions would have been a bit better and clearer. Other than the assembly issues, the desk has worked well so far and I haven’t had any issues. Fit perfectly in the small space it was intended for. ... show more

  • Great desk!!
It connected mine and my husband's pcs and I put my cricut on it. It was an amazing addition to our computer room. The black smokey glass looks so nice. The keyboard tray comes in and out very easily. Only complaint you can't have a big keyboard and mouse on slide out. If you have just a regular small keyboard you should be fine. I have my mouse on top of the desk which is fine. ... show more

  • Not so easy to put together
Bought this item and a single desk also, but couldn't put them together until I had moved out the old furniture as I live in a studio, so I didn't leave a review until now. I'm older and had a friend help me with holding the parts because of the way the mfgr. says to assemble it. You have to join the leg, brace, and top rails first, so its difficult because its just hanging there. It comes with just enough of every size screw, but since I didn't want to use the CPU holder, I had an extra, because some of the screws just would not start until I wiggled them level in the holes, and some holes, I had to stick my screwdriver into it and wiggle it around to clear residue left in them, but one or two were difficult no matter what I did. Hopefully I will never have to disassemble it, because I fear the threads might strip. I wish their instructions were a little more detailed or the pieces came with stickers that say 'top or bottom' not just piece #, because it's very easy to put the wedge-shape upside down and the keyboard tray also. Had to take both pieces apart again because I did just that. When I reassembled the two straight parts with the wedge and put on the glass sections, the left glass does not fit and one edge sticks up. I may have to loosen the screws that hold that section to the wedge to see if I can get it to fit level. The wedge itself, is kind of iffy, in that the glass rests on the frame and is only held in place by 2 small suction cups in the corner, the other two sections fit within its framework. All in all, it looks great. I am very happy with the sleek design and sturdiness of the framework and you can't beat the price. ... show more

  • Good for its purpose
I really like this little desk. I got it as an extension to add on to the end of the same model's "L" shaped corner desk (here: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B001FB5LE8/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1) It's no frills and pretty simple - but I needed something pretty minimalist to set up my workspace for my home office. It shows smudges fairly easily, but that's to be expected with a black glass-top desk. Certainly not docking anything in that regard. Assembly is pretty straightforward. Just be absolutely sure you're orienting the pieces exactly as they're show in the instructions (sometimes you have to peer pretty closely to see what side the drill holes for the screws are facing, it can be easy to get things turned around when you have dozens of pieces of desk and hardware scattered about trying to assemble things). Also when assembling, you may want to keep a rag / paper towel / baby wipes / similar around, as you'll almost certainly end up with a little bit of grease/lubricant on your hands from putting together the sliding rails for the keyboard tray. The price is reasonable, the seller shipped it timely, and it arrived on time and in one piece. It's not spectacular (what I try to save 5 star ratings for), but it does what I need, and looks nice. ... show more

  • Nice compact desk
Looks very nice with good quality materials. Compact size but enough space for a laptop and single monitor. The keyboard tray was very difficult to put together, instructions could be better for that section.
