I'm only taking one star off because the doors do not fully close. This allows for dust to get in and sit on the dishes and glassware. The drawers open and close without issue and hold a lot of stuff. The assembly was simple and straightforward. I also used the straps to hold the cabinet in place. I don't always do that but with the pieces I have in there, I thought it was a good thing to do. One review on here states that they don't trust it to hold anything heavy. As you can see from my pictures, it does indeed hold heavy objects. In fact, it's done just fine for the past 2.5 years (as of March 2024). I also include a picture of the shelf underside. The quality is fairly poor. I bought this to display antique China but I don’t trust the shelves to actually hold up. The fasteners are quite weak and loose. I also received damaged pieces. Was shipped very fast and outside of the damaged pieces it looks nice, but I wouldn’t purchase if you’re wanting it to hold anything heavy or valuable. ... show more
