I Love It So Much

Negatives first: The large stickers on the shelves don’t peel off very easily. Peel them off before you assemble it. It won’t be fun trying to peel it off after it’s together. Some of the bolts didn’t want to thread up very easily. A cordless impact will make your life a lot easier. Mine was missing a couple holes, but it was in a spot that really didn’t matter. You could easily just drill them yourself though if needed. It COULD be sturdier. But I have so far found that it is plenty sturdy for the intended use. Since I don’t have children and I don’t intend to ever climb or stand on it, I feel confident it will be just fine. Positives: Assembly is a wee bit time consuming, but it really isn’t complicated. I think it is so cute! It goes with our living room so well. The shelves are awesome and being able to add your books and trinkets makes it so cozy. The magnetic strip is a really cool feature. The surface seems quite durable. Just don’t be an idiot like me and try to clean sticker residue off with rubbing alcohol. You will ruin it. It’s a really good size for a small space. It’s the perfect height and it’s comfortable to sit at. I highly recommend it! ... show more

So I homeschool my 11 year old son at my work. We have a very small space - it's only an 8 x 8 room but we have a big plate proccessor at the front of the room so mine and my son's area is only a 5 x 8 area. I put this together by myself in the 5 x 8 area. It didn't take me very long to put it togeher (it was the standing it up in that small of a space but I worked it out by standing in the biggest part - inbetween the actual desk and the metal section of it and doing the limbo to push it up over the top of me (that was fun - really glad no one came in and witnessed that lol). It is pretty sturdy and a decent work space for school work and I love the shelves for putting his school books and other knick knacks he collects. Love it so far. ... show more

Sleek Design, Not a Work From Home Desk
Color: Rustic Oak Size: 36 Inch
Review Image by liz jones liz jones
Pros: I personally love the style of this desk as it easily blends in to any room with its dark stained wood and black metal fixtures. The two cubbies on the desk are useful for storage but as shown they do not conceal items. The top levels I find useful for book, decor, and plant storage to help elevate a room. Downsides: this desk took 2.5 hours together for two individuals. It’s difficult to assemble as one person as someone needs to hold the unfinished setup while the other person lines up a piece and puts it in. I recommend a task rabbit or Amazon delivery and set up for anyone who doesn’t have much free time. The desk wobbles. We tightened everything throughly but due to some dents in the lower polls we think the desk will not ever be wobble free (we added a foam piece in the back right leg as shown). This desk will NOT fit monitors. I have two laptops that are slim and the desk accommodates these with little room for my keyboard and mouse. ... show more

Be careful!!!
Color: Grey Wash Size: 36 Inch
The desk itself was kind of hard to build but is nice and sturdy. That being said - when I was unpacking all the pieces to build it, the packaging got fiberglass shards all over me. Could’ve been super dangerous if I hadn’t noticed and handled it correctly!! It’s a nice desk just be careful with the fiberglass in the packaging when you build it and take caution. ... show more

Arrived Early and Everything I wanted
Color: Grey Wash Size: 36 Inch
The only thing that surprised me about this product was that I was expecting the grey wood just to be a little lighter. Besides that it meets all of my needs it is a perfect small desk for a small space and, the shelves are great for storage. I wouldn't recommend putting anything too heavy on it cause it is a little wobbly until it is secured to the wall. It does take a little while to assemble but, it comes with all that you need to put it all together. I would also recommend having someone help you while building this piece. ... show more

Fantastic Shelf
Color: Grey Wash Size: 36 Inch
First, the bad (of which there is very little): the shelf is sturdy front-to-back and has a bit of wiggle side-to-side. This will be completely alleviated by using the wall mounting that is included. Also, be careful when unpackaging as the part number labels come off easily. This shelf meshes nicely with other furniture I have - the black metal framing matches my existing black shelves and the wooden shelves match my wooden desk. It sort of brings all of that together. I guess I missed the width dimension - this shelf is 36" wide and I only had 21-1/2" of space. I was able to remove two small-width shelves to accommodate this shelf and it works great in the space. ... show more
