This is a minimizer bra and it does it's job very well. Not only does it lift and separate, it also gives a nice round shape to each breast. It also does a fantastic job of smoothing the excess skin on the back and side-boob area because each cup fully encapsulates each breast and there is a wider than normal band. These work together to be the back and side smoothing minimizer bra it is advertised to be. Also, it is fully adjustable making it great for both tall AND petite people. I'm petite (5'1) and most bras are too long in the straps and fall down. These tighten fully to the front at the top of the cup so even very short gals or short shoulder gals like me will get a good fit! I can't say enough good things about this bra. (Provided you really do get the correct size/fit.) If you order one and it doesn't blow you away, try going up or down in the band and cup. I promise you it's worth the time and effort to exchange until you get the right size which may be a little different than what you think your size is or what your measurements might tell you your size is. I originally started in a 34G, then I went down to a 32G. Then I went to a 34DDD and now I'm in a 34DD and it's my unicorn bra. The sister size wasn't sistering... Getting the correct size is important or it won't work correctly for you. In the beginning, I had to order a few different sizes according to my measurements in order to play around with sizing and make sure to get the exact right size. I returned the ones that didn't fit right. I've also had to change sizes with significant weight loss. I went from full, dense breasts to deflated balloons with a ton of saggy skin... In both situations, the bra makes my breasts look great under clothing. Although, you would not be able to wear a deep V neck with this as it is very full coverage. Once I wore the original bra for a few months, I ordered several more in case they ever discontinue this style. When I say lift, I mean lift. My breasts are lifted back up where they were in highschool... I even sleep in this bra. Not kidding. If I don't sleep in a bra, these deflated skin gals travel into the armpits. Also, I work out in this bra because it provides great firm support. They're not going anywhere. Worth every penny. Can save a little by ordering whatever color may be on sale. Order multiple to try and then once you find your perfect fit, order multiple just to have. You'll never want another bra again. I ordered this bra after searching for a great minimizer bra. OMG, Wacoal back appeal bra where have you been all my adult life! I hate my giant (natural) boobs (no thanks mom) so I'm constantly trying to minimize them since their huge and they make my back fat (ugghh! rolls!!) I'm getting ready for vacation and desperately wanted a bra to give me some lift, support and help hide the back fat. I took a chance on this bra and I'm in loooove!! I immediately ordered two more, it fits perfectly! I feel lifted, supported and can't believe how it covers the back fat not allowing it to spill over. I'm normally a 36DDD but based off the reviews, I decided to order three different sizes, 36DDD, 34DDD and 36DD. The 36DD is so perfect it's like it was tailored to my body. I really love this bra. The straps are just wide enough but not too wide. The back band however, was too tight due to the hook and eye closures. I couldn’t close the bra properly and it was.very painful even just trying to wear it around the house. I’m returning it tomorrow but I ordered the next size up hoping it will work for me. ... show more

I need new bras, and I’ve been experimenting with a variety of styles/sizes/brands. The band size fits on this one, but I think the cups might be too big. They pucker on all settings of hooks and straps, and they do not minimize. I’m going to keep it, but it’s definitely not “the one.” I love Wacoal briefs, but this is the second Wacoal “minimizer” bra that I’ve tried and been less than satisfied with. I have for years, bought and worn Wacoal Minimizer bras. The style I have worn seems to be discontinued so I tried this bra instead (36G). Initially, when I put it on, I thought it was a good fit, and it was a good fit. However, after wearing it for a few hours I began to have cutting like pain along where the underwires were. There is literally no padding where the wires are and there were deep red gouges under my breasts. It is clearly not made with the female body or a large breasted woman in mind. Wacoal has always been known for quality, but this bra is not quality made and certainly not worth the money I paid for it. I could donate it, but I wouldn't do that to another woman. It would better serve woman in the trash! ... show more
