I cannot begin to tell you how long I have been looking for a strapless bra that would hold me up and actually work. This is it! For the longest time I just thought there wasn’t a strapless bra around for someone with a cup size like mine. I can wear so many different dresses now that I couldn’t before, it’s been life changing. The sizing is a bit off, the band runs small. I’m usually a 36G and I ended up needing to swap it out for a 38DDD, that size fits perfectly. As usual the quality is outstanding, there’s a reason why I’ve only bought bras from Wacoal for the last two decades. The bra really does a fantastic job. It looks great and it feels good. It does come with straps if you want to use them, but you don’t have to. I will be buying backups soon! Don’t hesitate try this one, it will surprise you.

This bra is definitely on the spendier side, but it’s worth it! The fit is comfortable and supportive, and I love how versatile the removable straps are. It stays in place well when worn strapless and gives a smooth, secure fit under dresses and tops. The full coverage and light padding are also great. If you’re looking for a quality convertible bra that will last, I think this one is worth the investment.

This is the BEST strapless bra I have ever worn or owned! And that is saying something, because I normally hate wearing strapless bras. Last summer I needed to get a strapless to wear under a bridesmaid dress, so I did a ton of "research" online to see what the best ones were. After reading reviews on Amazon and on other websites, I finally settled on a couple of contenders (including this one) to order. I was initially very hesitant to spend $65 on a bra, and skeptical that it would really be as good as the reviews claimed. But I decided to at least try it for myself and see if it was worth it. And I can tell you that it absolutely is! This bra changed my whole perception of how good a strapless bra can be. That is the reason that I am writing this review--to let anyone interested know that even as a strapless bra hater, I actually love this one. I have tried out and owned dozens of strapless bras, but was never quite able to find one that I actually enjoyed wearing, until now. One of the biggest problems that I have is that they always seem to create a weird silhouette in profile, such as sometimes looking more "cone" shaped than rounded, or showing an obvious line where the top of the cups hit my chest (see photos). Those problems always seem noticeable when wearing such a bra with a non-strapless top. I usually do a "t-shirt test" with a strapless, which is where I put on a plain white t-shirt and look to see if the bra creates those weird looks, or if I would actually be able to get away with wearing it with a white t-shirt. Every other strapless that I've tried has failed my t-shirt test, except for this one. Maybe it's just specific to my body and not an issue for others, but this is the first one that I have found that does not create an odd profile, and it has the perfect rounded shape. I almost can't tell that I'm wearing a strapless bra, which is exactly what I've always been searching for--one that looks just like a non-strapless bra under clothes. Another test that I do with strapless bras is the "arms up" test. I raise both my arms straight up in the air, to see if my chest and the bra stay in place. To pass the test there are 2 things that I look for: that raising my arms up doesn't make me pop out of the cups, and that it doesn't create a gap between the top of the bra and my skin (so that for example if a really tall person happened to be standing next to me and was able to look down at my chest, he/she wouldn't be able to see right down into my bra). This bra passes both of those tests, and the top of it stays firmly against my chest. I honestly can't say enough good things about it, and now I understand why it has such great reviews and why so many people are willing to spend $65 on a bra. Even though I generally hate strapless bras, this is one that I would have no problem wearing even if my outfit didn't call for a strapless. It is incredibly comfortable and doesn't shift around with movement. It is the only strapless that I will ever wear, and want to encourage anyone interested to go ahead and try it out, because you will most likely not be let down.

I had recently purchased this in order to wear a strapless dress for my college graduation so keep in mind that I was wearing it for several hours. The bra was definitely not all that comfortable but it did make me feel much more "secure" than previous bras did. It covered up well but still felt supportive. The lining of the bra has a clear plastic on the top and bottom (it reminds me of the squishy clear plastic that is under a credit card or gift card when you first receive it) and it works fairly well at stabilizing the bra as compared to tightening the bra until you can't breath! I only have one other strapless bra which was bought at Victoria's Secret and though this one had cost more, they were not too different. This one feels supportive and you don't have to constantly pick the bra up while going through the day, but the plastic lining can become uncomfortable. It might just be me, however, and for others the plastic lining won't be an issue. Aside from that, the bra itself is fairly simple looking though it definitely feels like it is a good quality bra. It is not incredibly thin nor does it have lacing all over which can potentially make you feel itchy (as it does for me). I had liked that about it because if you are planning on wearing something that is a bit thin (silky maybe), you don't have any little lace decorations that pop out and make the bra noticeable. As someone with a somewhat larger bra size (Just about a 36-38DDD), I still give the bra approval because it is supportive enough to handle any bra size in my opinion. Bras can be quite complicated for those with larger sizes and especially strapless ones. However, this bra does come with straps as well so you can use it as a regular everyday bra after the event you are planning on using it for! I still wouldn't say it is a personal favorite in terms of comfort but I do think it is worth the money if you will be wearing a lot of strapless shirts.

As a 32G busted woman, I honestly have never been able to find a strapless bra at any store. They either never had my size or the rare store that did, the price was so high that I never felt justified to buy it. I wanted one for a dress that I was wearing to friends wedding so after reading the reviews on this, I decided to give it a try. It's definitely worth the price (esp as this is pretty reasonable compared to other prices I've seen in hard to find sizes like mine!). The bra fits like a brand new glove (slightly snug but will fit better over time)-and gives great support. I also love that you can wear it w the straps, in multiple ways. It's been a while since I bought it, so my now have worn it many times as both strapless and standard straps. The material is very sturdy and has the feel of a very lightly boned corset almost -again while that might be too much for some, for those of us with large sizes, it is a god-send! I've never felt comfortable wearing a strapless bra before and trust me, I envy my smaller friends who are able to find strapless bras for much cheaper price tags and beautiful/sexy designs. I got this in the nude color to be able to wear it under both light and dark clothing, and at some point will be buying it in black as well. I will add that this almost seems to be a minimizer too. For someone with such a large bust size, it's exactly what I want but if you're smaller size and are wanting to 'add', I'm not sure if this would be that bra. Otherwise I would highly recommend this and will be keeping an eye on it to see if it ever goes on sale to buy it again as this is literally my only strapless bra so far :)

While it did do its job better than most other strapless bras do for my bell-shaped girls, the fabric would never lay flat, no matter what I did to try to manipulate it. Last week, I also had the top hook snap off. I haven’t even had it for a year, and couldn’t really afford this bra when I bought it, so I’m very dissatisfied. I am giving 3 stars because yes it technically did hold my boobs up with no gaping or spillage, but the tops of my boobs looked lumpy in every outfit

This bra works so well that I have completely shifted my wardrobe choices to start wearing a lot more off-the-shoulder and strapless tops! I am super impressed with how well it stays up. I don’t have to constantly adjust it back up into place, so it makes the whole outfit look so much better. I wear a 34DD across different brands and ordered that size and it fits perfectly. I haven’t yet used any straps with it so I can’t speak to those, but it probably says a lot that I haven’t needed them. I chose the nude color and it completely disappears under my tops, so I love that choice. I find that the material is soft but the band is supportive enough that it doesn’t slip down and the underwire is structured so well that the silhouette is gorgeous. Love this, absolutely worth every penny!

I had a deep hatred for strapless bras (34DDD). This Wacoal Red Carpet Strapless has changed that. I was stuck in an airport for almost two days wearing this bra, and was not able to take it off until 43 HOURS had passed. It never hurt, never dug into my sides, never once had to pull it up and during that two day fiascal of being stuck in airport, then finally taking a 6 hour bus ride home, the bra was never once on my mind. I absolutely love this bra!
