Did you notice the large number of reviews with contrary opinions? Here's the reason why: the supplier is shipping more than one style number and they're very different bras. I first ordered a 40DD from this seller in June. It was a true T-shirt bra, supportive yet comfortable, great fit, and cold weather safe. That was style 853192. I ordered another a couple of weeks later and was deeply disappointed. The cups were thinly lined without side support, the straps were alarmingly stretchy, and I would not have felt confident wearing it under thin material. Then I noticed the different detailing - the 1st bra matched the photo on the listing, with a clean, untrimmed band along the chest. This 2nd bra had scalloped trim there, and other minor trim differences. Suspicious, I checked the tags. The 2nd bra was style 855192. It got returned, pronto (easy return, by the way). If a great sale comes up, I may be willing to roll the dice and risk dealing with another return and reorder. But for the same price, I can reliably receive the style I want from Dillards online. Update: after having this bra for almost a year, I finally ordered another one. But be careful - look at the model number because I realized when I received the second bra, it was slightly different in style; not bad, just not the same one--that bra (style 855192) gets a 2 o 3 star as it's very uncomfortable. As for style 853192, what I thought I was getting the second time, I found that despite my initial thought of not liking how it looks with certain tops, I was reaching for it more and more for the fit and comfort. It holds everything well too without the back riding up or other problems I often have with bras after I've had them for a while and they stretch out or whatever. 853192 has retained its shape. I have washed this bra (853192) over and over - lots of times not even in a lingerie bag and a couple of times it accidentally went in the dryer (I like to hang my bras to dry) but it's still holding up without losing its shape or fit! --------- This is my first try of Wacoal bras as I have been wearing Felina Paramour bras for years--and Felinas bras have held up beautifully. I sized up to a 34DDD and glad I did. I normally order 32DD but this 34DDD fits better in the cup size - the 34 is fairly snug so I'm not sure if a 32 would have been too tight so keep in mind that the band may run slightly small. This is a full-coverage bra so at least on me I wouldn't wear a low-cut blouse with it. But it is comfortable. However, it has a kind of 'granny boob' look to it - and I'm a grandmother but I don't want that kind of look. It just doesn't look quite right with tees or other close fitting or snug tops. I would only wear this with looser tops. (After wearing this for months, I may consider ordering another one since I've grown to like it a bit more than I did at first--it still doesn't look all that great under really snug tops. But I wouldn't pay what they want - I'd wait for one to go on sale.) I wash on gentle and hang to dry like I do all my bras and already it's showing a little 'wear' and I haven't had this bra that long (however, after about 6 months of wear it's still holding up well). ... show more

I was a bit suspicious about buying it at first since it was a “t-shirt” bra but had no reviews actually showing how it looks with a t shirt. The fabric is nice and soft and smooth. I can see it giving some issues around the armpit area if thats important to you. The band itself is tight but I don't mind it since bras stretch out eventually. It gives a nice natural lift. The coverage is nice and covers fully and seamless under a snug t shirt. It’s lightly padded enough so you cant nip through it (which is great). Overall, first thoughts i think its super nice and comfortable the straps are a bit thicker which i appreciate as well. ... show more

I have never tried this brand before and thought, for the price, it should be great. My first red flag should have been the sizing. I am 34 inches around my rib cage and 39 inches across my bust - This would be a 34DD in many other sizes. Not Wacoal! According to their size chart I would be a 36C. This couldn't possibly be more wrong! The band was almost floppy it was so big and the cups were small and uncomfortable. And even though the band was sliding all over the place, I had "build-up" under my arms. Fat rolls! I don't even know how that's possible unless it was because the cups were so small they pushed most of my breast under my arm. I have no idea how to convert my normal size into their system and quite frankly, I'm not even going to try. For the price, I shouldn't have to. ... show more
