  • Very happy with this!
Pattern Name: 55 inch with lid
Our new house only has two large showers... no tub. My wife misses taking a hot, leisurely, bath now and then. For Christmas I surprised her with this bath. She loved it. It was easy to set up and take down (after I cleaned it and let it dry overnight.) She's 5'7" and was able to comfortably stretch her legs out completely. I didn't think she would want the "lid" that goes on it, but she loved that too. She said it kept the water warm for over 2 hours and she really liked being able to prop up her tablet (so she could watch a movie) and a place to put her drink. I have to admit I was skeptical about the sturdiness and ease of use of this tub... but I'm more than impressed with how well it works. I didn't use the plastic linings that came with the tub. I guess if it ever leaks I will. But it seems so well made that I don't see that happening any time soon. This review is for the 54" version. ... show more

  • Shower to tub transition
Pattern Name: 55 inch with lid
Loved the ease of setting up this tub and how well it fit in my shower space. It is very sturdy and is even deeper than a regular soaking tub. The drain was directly over my shower drain as I had originally remodeled the bathroom to fit a walk-in shower for my mother. Is very easy to move to fit in a storage space when not needed but need to use some kind of strap to hold the legs when folded in.... bungee cords work quite well. All in all, this fits my needs just fine. ... show more

  • Works very well
Pattern Name: 55 inch with lid
We built a house with large roll in showers because we thought that would be smart as we age. Trouble is, the wife decided she was missing a "good soak" more than she thought she would. Converting a bathroom to a tub would not be cheap and she really only wants to soak once or twice a month. This tub really turned out to be a BIG cost saver. I am six foot, and I can actually straighten my legs in it. My wife is five foot four, so she can really stretch out. It is sturdy and well made. It sets up quickly and can be taken down almost as quickly. Our shower is large enough that we can position the bottom drain near our shower drain, so we just open the plug and it drains without issue. The cover is a bit weird at first, but it doe help keep the water from cooling off too fast and it gives you a place to sit things like tea, books, or snacks. I feel it will last a long, long time, but heck, if I had to replace it every two years it is still really cost effective over the remodel option. My only issue is the width. If I try to lay down, my shoulders are too wide to be really comfortable, My wife has no issues at all with her shoulders fitting. ... show more

  • Love it!
Love my tub, way better than i imagined. Although it has not retracted (popped in) properly yet. Inky three times so far, always same side, feel like i can see why. Will keep you posted. Plan to see if their claim of use is accurate. 1500, 3 down, 1497 to go. Will defintely update on the retracting, legs do not lock for storage, flop around and overall sturdiness. i have high hopes. ... show more

  • Good quality & comfortable, but not easy to drain
Pattern Name: 55 inch with lid
I really like this tub. It’s quite big and much more comfortable than I thought it would be. The lid is also really convenient. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because when you set it up, there is space underneath the tub, so you think you will be able to drain it, but once its full, it bogs down and seals off the shower drain, making it impossible to drain the water from it. Also, the tube that is included with it is not nearly long enough to reach a sink. I had to bail it out with a pot the first time I used it. I bought some lifts to put it on and hope that will solve the problem, but I would consider that a design flaw. They could at least include a longer hose so you could actually reach a sink with it. ... show more

  • worth it.
I recently moved into an apartment without a shower and was disappointed because I use baths to help my arthritis. I found this product and was unsure about it for a few weeks because I was nervous to spend the money. Let me just say, it was completely worth it. It was super easy to set up and use. It was the best possible solution for moving into an apartment without a tub. I would recommend this to anyone. It is sturdy and easy to drain...it does take a while to fill so I just have to be patient. Great product!!!!!! ... show more

  • My mom loves it!
Pattern Name: 55 inch with lid
I just purchased this for my mother. She's in memory care and the rooms only come with showers - but she's always taken baths and refuses to take a shower. After a bit of negotiating, I convinced the facility to let me try this tub for her. It's a bit taller than she is use to, but it is sturdy and holds the heat well enough for her to have a normal bath. The bottom is a bit slick for her and needed a mat in it for her safety, and I do have to tip it up to drain the last bits of water out of it, but those are minor issues. I honestly thought it would a lot harder to convince her to try it, but I was wrong - she loves her new tub so much that she shows it off to all of her visitors! ... show more
